    I don’t understand, how would each of these states get this much military arsenals, even fighter jets? Tf how? Am I missing the point or something? Because this seems like a full blown military overt attempt, a coup d’etat, Myanmar style. Even then, how did the government still have so many military guys and equipments and secret services, and this might be an American thing, but does Texas have their own seperate military unit or something (even before the civil war, as in our today)

      If the US Army has broken down, it is possible that the military bases in some states have just been abandoned, let the National Guard in to seize their equipment, or have outright joined them.

      From the movie I definitely got the vibe that it was more of a coup than a civil war and the only U.S. military still fighting on the president's side were the last die-hards, but that the majority had already switched sides.

    • @draftyowl

      More like those states are using their national guard, IRL case would be Texas right now using its national guard to close a gap in the border that federals would like to keep open. Texas would refuse to let federal authorities access the park, vowing to "protect the sovereignty of our state".In the aftermath of the Supreme Court's decision, 25 other Republican state governors (every Republican governor but Vermont's Phil Scott) announced their support for Texas in the dispute, 5 of the states pledge to send more troops, in total 26,697 troops. The Texas Army National Guard alone is composed of approximately 19,000 soldiers, and maintains 117 armories in 102 communities.

Also, sleeping on the ground when vehicles are moving right next to you (no ground guides) is a great way to get run over. The only real gripe I have with this battle scene is how they portray use of the gunships. If you watch those old-ish videos of Apaches engaging the Taliban, they literally just pick them off one by one from a couple thousand feet up, just orbiting round and round until all their targets are destroyed. That's kind of the whole point of an attack helicopter, to destroy things beyond the enemy's range to fire back. There's no need to get THAT close with an Apache.

    • @RadeUeMasq
      @RadeUeMasq 2 дня назад

      They're avoiding the C-RAMS firing in the background. Which for whatever reason seem to be shooting at nothing. Since the Loyalist forces surrendered. The WF would have air superiority. So how these C-RAMS are still functional is beyond me. A couple kamikaze drone strikes or F-16 smart bomb drops from 10,000 feet would have erased those things pretty easy. By the way, I'm former US Army.

    As awesome as this whole sequence was I think this is where the limited budget kinda showed the most. Washington DC, the front lines of the entire civil war, seems mostly empty with only like 6-7 soldiers, 1 tank, and maybe 2 humvees on screen at a time, and it’s pretty obvious that that’s all the filmmakers were able to get their hands on. I think they did wel with what they had, but for the front lines of the entire war there’s really not that many troops on either side of the conflict. And if DC is the front lines of the war, the White House is the FRONT FRONT lines. I’d expect hundreds of soldiers fighting on either side. Not to mention there aren’t any bodies anywhere to show how long and brutal the conflict has been in DC

    • @confusedbakugo1373
      @confusedbakugo1373 5 дней назад

      The frontline battle was not in Washington D.C, it was in Charlottesville. The reason there's nobody left in D.C is because everyone else went to Charlottesville and these are the last of the most dedicated loyalists fighting in vain to protect the president. They mentioned earlier in the film that the Loyalist USA had already surrendered; this scene is the Western Forces making one last push to D.C to finally end the war.

    BEFORE THE SECOND AMERICAN CIVIL WAR: The year was 2024 after President Joe Biden won his second term as President of the United States against Former President now political prisoner Donald Trump. His supporters decided to rebrand their neo-conservative political party called The MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN PARTY ( MAGA) for short. Trump decided not to run again for president since he is all tied up in courts that could lead him to a few years in Federal Prison and due to His health is ailing. The MAGA Party wanted to create a ' Manchurian Candidate' political hero that would save America from liberal welfare socialism, pan Hispanic dreamers, foreign influencers, Islamic international terrorism, feminine national abortion practices and LGBTQ national policies. Then a former MAGA Trump loyalist and former Republican senator from New York named "Andrew Hissler" decides to run for President in 2028 against other Republican Candidates and Democratic Candidates including Kamala Harris, a first female Vice President. Hissler took all advice from Trump and gained tremendous support for MAGA Party members. When the 2028 election came in It was Andrew Hissler vs. Kamala Harris and Hissler won the presidency by a landslide. Then fewer democrats start to accuse fellow electors that a landslide vote is suspicious and Harris issued recalls in 30 states. After the recount, about 3 states Florida, Texas And California had electors that rigged the election for Andrew Hissler. But he was not involved. Lots of Americans who voted for Harris felt the election was stolen and urged their families, friends in each town and state to propose to secede from the Union. This rally gained some momentum, even some U.S. Armed Forces decided to desert from military duties and one by one as soon as Hissler was inaugurated President, several states immediately secede from the U.S. and form their own independent nations. Thus the Second American Civil War began. All the nations of the Earth were shocked to see a once free country divided again. The United Nations started to move their W.H.Q. to Paris, France. When some states were loyal to President Hissler, other states broke away from the Union from their own nations. 1. The Florida Alliance contains the Old South, Mid South 2. The States of California and Texas form the Western Alliance. 3. The Pacific Northwest and northern plains became the New People's Army.

They even gave away what intel they had on the size and strength of their remaining forces to the WF. The few fanatical remnants of the army and the Secret Service were entirely left to fend for themselves, hence why DC was so poorly defended. Most of the President's top generals just said, "Screw this, we're not wasting our lives for a dictator."
