This channel will be uploading Karate techniques, forms and sets weekly at 9am mountain time. We will also be uploading tips of the week and other karate videos on a weekly basis which will be on Monday's at 6pm Mountain time.
Coppock’s Kenpo Karate Academy - formerly known as American Kenpo Karate School - has been a martial arts institution in Colorado Springs since 1983. We teach American Kenpo Karate under the leadership of Senior Master John Sepulveda and we are governed by his organization, Advanced Kenpo Training System.

that's only part of the video. You get into an altercation, he takes you down, but you manage to pull guard. The assailant then deploys a knife and tries to stab you. This is one answer to that, we train other answers as well, Mr. Troll.

it is a Filipino drill, done at beginner speed, with bigger motions, for students just learning the drill. I learned it from Apolo Ladra, and I'm nowhere near his proficiency......hate if you want....

The knife flow isn't advanced.....it's the first knife flow in Warrior Krav Maga advanced phase A. the advanced phase A is basically their intermediate material and does not refer to the knife flow as being an advanced flow, sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

What is that first kick a groin kick? Why not oblique kick his lead leg with your lead leg and then buckle his knee with your lead leg? It would be faster to do that double kick with your lead leg, than spinning around giving your back to your opponent like that.
You're not wrong, I actually should have kicked him to the knee with the first kick. My bad. As far as the comment about spinning, I don't disagree with you. We have other techniques that buckle the knee without spinning, this one just shows a different way....
