Nice Upload. Bought This album 26 years ago in an obscure record shop in Paris for nothing (second hand), i think the owner just wanted to get rid of it. Good for me as it is a Gem of the ritual/ambient/electro scene of late 80's early 90's. That was my second album from OYK, the first being "Undercurrent" (In Black Water). 1 week later i managed to get "Equator", then I went onto TUU, Hybrids, Jorge Reyes, Steve Roach, Vidna Obmana...

This music reminds me of the best days of my life. a summer before everything went to shit, A life so far I can't imagine being so happy that just the memory brings tears to my eyes. A time not yet forgotten but yet so far that the details escape me, yet one of the few memories that has nothing negative related to it. My favorite thing to do at the beach is to go far enough that the voices are barely audible submerge just my ears so it truly becomes quiet and close my eyes so all I can do is feel. In this moment nothing else exits but me, nothing else matters, nothing can end or continue without me opening my eyes. And suddenly I will shaken by the waves, water will go up my noes and I will hear the sound of faint laughter as my family smiles trying to reach me. I want to go closer but it's so much more calm without them so I try to get away but yet the waves pushes me back towards them. I resist but eventually I become tired and just lay on my back and let the wave do what it wants. I reach my family and we laugh and splash each other and I'm laughing but for the first time it's a natural reaction that doesn't feel forced, for the first time everything is truly beautiful, for the first time I feel truly beautiful. Life is wonderful

Tetsu disappeared completely after releasing his last album in May of 2007. Not even the dude who ran his website for him was able to make contact with Tetsu. It is thought that perhaps Tetsu then died during the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami as he was believed to be living within that area of Japan. Truly one of the most mysterious figures in ambient electronic music. I keep checking the news from time to time, holding onto this shred of hope that he is still out there somewhere, making even more beautiful electronic music. Ambiant Otaku is a masterpiece.
