Survival Challenge in a Snowstorm and Blizzard at -21°CBuilding a Shelter Under a Tree
I found myself caught in one of the fiercest snowstorms I have ever experienced. The temperature plummeted to below -21°C, and the biting wind hurled snowflakes into my face, drastically reducing visibility. The storm was relentless, but I had no choice but to keep moving forward.
I managed to build a natural shelter under a massive tree that had been uprooted by the strong winds, positioning it so that it faced away from the blizzard. The air around me was unbearably cold, and everything was covered in thick ice. My fingers were numb, and the cold was overwhelming. But I had to survive.

Yes, thank you❤️🔥🔥🔥❄️⛺️
I just subscribed to your channel a few minutes ago and I'm so glad I did. I am intrigued by your ability to build a shelter out of literally nothing but nature...love how you do that. I'm wondering why you don't wear gloves and perhaps a thicker jacket and lined boots...it's just the mother in me. No doubt you know how to take care of yourself. Thank you for your videos!!!
Thank you so much for subscribing to my channel! I really appreciate your concern about the clothing and gear. When I’m out in nature, I try to challenge myself and rely more on natural resources. Of course, I’m always learning from new experiences, and I might consider better clothing and gear in the future. I’m really glad you enjoy the videos! Thank you for your support of my channel.❤️welcome
@@Wildsolocamp I've set myself up a marathon to watch all the videos you've posted. Thank you for informing me of the fact that you like to challenge yourself....my son does this as well, so I should be used to it and leave well enough alone. It's all about caring. Take care.
Paskudne miejsce masakra przeciąg współczuję jaka noc do spania dobrze że drzewa nie brakuje 😢
I appreciate your opinion, but I have to say it was actually a great spot. First of all, the ground beneath the tree was dry. Second, it was warm; once the fire was lit, the heat came in really well, and it felt just like a warm room. Third, in such harsh conditions, setting up camp as quickly as possible was the best decision🙏❤️
It makes you cold 👍🥺
Yes, the cold can be tough, but it’s all part of the challenge. Staying strong and keeping warm with the right preparation is key!
Cold is a test of a person's strength! I liked the video! Well done!
Thank you for your kind words! I’m glad you liked the video. Cold truly is a great challenge, and I appreciate your support!🙏❤️
Почему так часто выставляешь одинаковые видео?@@Wildsolocamp
Because the first time, it didn’t get the attention it deserved 😉 Also, my new video wasn’t fully edited and ready to upload. To maintain consistency and stay aligned with the algorithm, I had to do this, my friend.
you are so good, i like you very much, good luck
Thank you so much my friend for watching and support me💪🏻❄️🔥
What was the thing you used to start the fire?
It was compressed cardboard and some alcohol-soaked cotton.
Where are your gloves?🥶🥶🥶
I didn’t have gloves to work comfortably.🙏

@@Wildsolocamp How about when you're not working?
I just don’t like gloves and never use them. I’m used to the cold 😉😁

🥶🥶🥶🥶your hand freezing
Yes, my hands were almost frozen from the cold, and I faced a tough challenge. But fortunately, I was strong and kept going.
Very good .tanks for sharing❤
Thank you too🙏
Thank you so much
Great Video...
Thanks friend 🙏💪🏻⛺️🔥
What a landscape to be able to camp in truly enchanted amazing video
Thank you for your kind words! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Camping in such an enchanting place is truly a magical experience.❤️
It the harsh conditions of the winter storm the fire went out at 6:55/26:16 of the video after blowing it. Then what happened???? I need to know so i can survive such harsh conditions
The fire didn’t actually go out; it was still burning at the base. All I needed to do was add drier wood on top of the initial fire to strengthen it. Also, when the snow is icy and there’s a blizzard, the wood tends to be drier compared to when the snow is slushy. In such conditions, the first priority is always to start a fire. To speed things up, I used compressed cardboard along with a bit of alcohol-soaked cotton. If I had kept blowing on it, the flames would have gotten bigger, but the fire itself wouldn’t have gone out.❤️🔥🔥🔥
I live in a tropical country and will freeze to death here 🥶🥶🥶 Salam dari Indonesia 😎
Terima kasih sudah menonton dari Indonesia! Tetap hangat, dan semoga suatu hari nanti Anda bisa merasakan berkemah di musim dingin-itu adalah petualangan yang unik!🙏❤️
Good Chanel.👍👍👍 Thanks for sharing your video.. greetings from Indonesia 🙏
Thank you for your kind words and support! Greetings to you from my side as well. I appreciate viewers from Indonesia!
Thanks for sharing. Mmmmmmm fresh warm bread and meat on a stick cooked over a fire. That meal will take the tastebuds to paradise. Peace and prosperity from Texas USA.
Thank you for your kind words! There’s nothing like the simple joy of fresh bread and meat cooked over a fire. Wishing you peace and prosperity from my side as well!
Cover your fire trap some heat bud. No heat entering your “shelter “ here
You’re right, covering the fire helps retain heat. Activity can definitely keep me warm, but I’ll make sure to adjust the fire setup to stay efficient. Thanks for the suggestion!
Sad part is that newbie’s watching this actually believes it 😢😢😢
@@Lindsay-u9e The even sadder part is people like you, who know nothing, come here talking big. Have you ever even seen anything like this up close? 😂 Go see it for yourself, experience it, and then come back and share your opinion on whether it’s real or not.
If you’re fire is not covered the only thing keeping you warm is your activity gathering firewood 🤦🤦🤦
You’re right, covering the fire helps retain heat. Activity can definitely keep me warm, but I’ll make sure to adjust the fire setup to stay efficient. Thanks for the suggestion!
How come the fire does not go off with the rain??
The heat from the fire is stronger than the power of the rain, and it evaporates the snow and rain particles. Having a strong fire in such conditions is excellent. Using dry and resinous firewood is great as it gives a good fire and keeps you warm, even if it’s farther away. 💚❤️
Hi, you are very good, very good video, I like you very much, I wish you good luck
Thank you so much for your kind words and support! I’m really happy you enjoyed the video. Wishing you all the best as well!❤️

Bro that's not surviving that is just camping
“When you venture miles deep into the wild forest without defensive equipment like a weapon, facing all sorts of weather conditions, with food for only one night, that’s not camping, my friend-that’s survival. Every moment could bring a new challenge. Camping is driving to a fishing spot with all your gear, not like me, heading into the woods with just a backpack and an axe, walking for hours. You should try this kind of camping once 😉😉😉 to see what survival is and what leisure is.
Maybe you should try it yourself and see if you can tell the difference between camping and real survival. It’s easy to talk when you’re sitting comfortably 😉
Excellent work. I like your approach, demonstrate by doing, no incessant talking. The video quality is excellent. I also like your minimalist approach on equipment, proving you don’t need a lot of equipment to enjoy an outing.
“Thank you for the amazing feedback! I’m really glad you enjoyed the approach and the video quality. I believe less is more, and it’s great to know that message comes through. Your encouragement means a lot and pushes me to keep improving!❤️🙏happy new year ❄️🎄
Since when does this qualify for a snowstorm?
Well, maybe it’s not the worst snowstorm ever, but it’s still enough to test your limits if you’re out here!😉❄️
Nice video my friend
Thanks for the visit🙏
So beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!⛺️💪🏻❄️🔥❤️
Really camping.
Thank you so much 🙏⛺️❄️🔥
U need a dog and a better tent,i would use the tree behind as a shelter and the tent as a extension for the shelter
Thanks for the suggestion! Using the tree as a shelter and the tent as an extension is a really practical idea, especially in tough outdoor conditions. I totally agree about the dog-having one as a companion can add both security and comfort to camping. I’ll definitely consider it!
❤️❤️❤️🎄
Very Nice vidéo,Thanks!
Thank you too!❤️
Watching these relaxes me so much.. the scenery and the skill makes it worth watching.
Glad you enjoyed it❤️
It was fascinating. I’ve never seen such a storm before. Your resilience is truly admirable, man!
Thank you bro 💪🏻❄️🔥⛺️❤️
Your film was amazing, my friend! I really enjoyed it. The sudden and intense snowfall at the beginning was such a great touch, adding so much excitement to the story. Keep going on this path, you're definitely going to succeed. Wishing you all the best and stay creative and energetic!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m thrilled to hear you enjoyed the film. The snowfall was definitely a key moment, and I’m glad it added to the excitement. I really appreciate your support and encouragement-it keeps me motivated! Wishing you all the best too, and I’ll keep pushing forward!
I think you should have shown more of the process of building your bed so we could see how it was made. But overall, it was good. You could also have used branches and leaves underneath to make it softer.🙏
Thank you for your feedback! You’re absolutely right; I should have shown more of the bed-making process. I’ll keep that in mind for future videos. And yes, adding branches and leaves for extra softness is a great idea-definitely something I’ll try next time!❤️🙏
Everything was great, we really enjoyed the video and thank you for sharing it with us. It was an amazing, fascinating, and enjoyable camping experience. Thank you! I enjoyed every minute of it, from nature to shelter and good food. Happy New Year!❤️❤️❤️
Glad you enjoyed it💪🏻🙏🔥
Happy new year 🎊🎈🎆
A truly amazing film that beautifully captures the snowy landscapes and the challenges of bushcraft. Every moment is filled with excitement and raw emotion. Not only does it showcase the skills of bushcraft, but it also demonstrates how hope and determination can guide you through the toughest conditions. Highly recommended for anyone interested in nature and survival in the wild!
Glad you enjoyed it!❤️💚👏🎄
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really glad you enjoyed the film. It was a true challenge, and it’s great to hear that the message of hope and determination resonated with you. Your feedback means a lot!❤️
I appreciate the time you took to capture your camping trip. I enjoyed every minute of nature, shelter and good food. Happy New Year !
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m glad you enjoyed the adventure, nature, and the food. Wishing you a fantastic New Year as well!❤️❤️❤️❤️
your videos are awesome .i hope you the bests❤
Thank you so much 🙏❤️
I watched til the end, decent vid but I was hoping to see in the morning, if that tarp setup collapsed from snow load or did you luck out. Liked it anyways.
Thanks for watching till the end! Glad you liked the video. The tarp held up just fine in the morning and handled the snow load well. I’ll make sure to include the morning scene next time!❤️🙏
what do you sleep on to protect yourself from the cold ground? Sleeping bag? Blankets?. Also, i noticed you don't stock up firewood before dark to get you through the night. Burrr!
To protect myself from the cold ground, I first lay down branches and leaves, then add a waterproof layer. The heat from the fire is usually enough for the night. As for firewood, there is usually enough around the camp, and I gather more as needed, but I’ll definitely be more mindful next time. Thanks for your attention and tips!❤️
You might consider making fire near the boulder so the boulder can absorb the heat and radiate heat back toward you.
Thank you for the great suggestion! Making a fire near a boulder to reflect heat is a very practical idea, and I’ll definitely try it in future camps. Thanks again for the helpful tip!❤️
@ you are welcome. Love your content.💕
