Californiaclassix
США
Добавлен 29 окт 2011
I've been emerged in the classic car hobby for more than 3 decades. In 1999 I quit my day job and co-founded Californiaclassix (www.californiaclassix.com). We have owned over two-thousands cool cars and expanded until my business partner retired in 2020. Now at age 65 and close to retirement myself, I'm learning to do videos and expend my RUclips channel. In addition, I do dry-ice cleaning of classic and collectible cars.
Enjoy!

Просмотров 2402 месяца назад
Checking out our super rare, fully restored 1967 Volvo 123GT. Although it looks like a "regular" 122S, the 123GT is a homologation special, made with competition components to win races. Reportedly less than 5,000 of these cars were made, and many of them have succumbed to the dreaded rust worm. This one must be one of the finest surviving examples of the species. Enjoy!

Checking out this rare 1965 Pontiac Le Mans Sport Coupe. The car was owned from 1966 until recently by a lady from San Dimas, California. It still has its original AM radio, air conditioning compressor, hubcaps and other stock equipment and escaped any attempts to turn it into a GTO replica. Have a look into the past what it's like to drive an almost 6 decades old muscle car . . .

I bought my new in 1981 out of Cincinnati OH. I have 67K original miles. My LeCar, still looks new. Maintenance is key. I paid $5600 USD.
When did Richard sell it?
Where could I get hold of a 262 engine?
Looks like it got jaundice with the headlamps, and I don't care for the side pipes. What was wrong with the Ford 289 engine?
Que parachoques más horrorosos
Ho dimenticato FIAT vuol dire: Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino! Che adesso non esiste più ce Stellantis😝
Complimenti alla driver che guida con cambio manuale, FIAT 128 versione USA! 😝 comunque guidare un auto senza targhe in California é possibile? In Italia ti arrestano subito😂 Ciao bellissimo restauro
In the early 80's I had a 1978 128 4 door. My father painted it red on the top and beige on the lower half. It looked great. New York City roads took a toll on the suspension and I lost my front control arm during a turn right in the middle of an intersection. The car was so light I got a couple of neighborhood guys to just pick it up and park it. I wish i never got rid of it. So much fun.
That is a great looking original car, I would love to have it. I had a 1973 128 2 door in 1977 when I was 16. My brother purchased it new and drove it to college. I still have the window sticker. Great little car, handled great. Not a rocket ship which may have been a good thing for a 16 year old. Sold it a year later for a 72 Nova with a V8
Good thing it is in California, because they were rusting on the way over, I think. You hardly ever saw a Fiat with a good body where I live. Seemed that nothing could save them.
When these were being sold in the US, I loved the look of them This one the 124, the little rear engine one the 650 coupe and spyder, the Strada. I bought a 124 in 1974, but it was not a good car at all. By the time it had 28,000 miles on it I had replaced the high/low beam switch. It had a two- piece driveshaft with a center carrier bearing that needed to be replaced and at that 28,000 mile mark, it blew a head gasket. so, I sold it. What was once the local Fiat dealer is now a hearing center.
wow, another quite exquisite thing, like the Puma or the SP2.Would be nice to have all 3
Bella e piuttosto professionale, sembra un po' una Trident Venturer (anche il nome è simile...) inglese con un design più italiano
A Ventura in Ventura 😂
What a cool car definitely won't see another one on the road, thanks for the road trip through Ventura...
Final Someone that understands That the car is the star
Nice
Believe it or not, I got my drivers license in a Fiat 128 in Sept 1977. It was my grandmothers car, and it was a deep navy blue
Nice car. But the bumpers😢
Old ad, the 3 tabs at front of underhood insulation mat need to be tucked up under the sheetmetal.
5:44 That suspension works amazingly! I still drive the copy of this car - Zastava Skala 55, which is the last production year, 2008 and i assure you the suspension is great, but not this great. Those Zastava "copies" had Fiat engine in the beginning, when it was called Zastava 101 and those Fiat engines are know to be the best by far, it could push the car over 160 kmh (100 mph) and later models with Zastava 55 engines could only do 135 kmh (84 mph). Fiat engine was also had higher quality and lower fuel consumption. What i didnt expect is that exhaust sound that is known with Zastava model, i dinnt know its also with the original Fiat (that buzzing sound above 2500 rpm like there is a crack in the exhaust).
My buddy is a Volvo driver.. Every 10 years he gets a 10 year old Volvo...
Estoy en busca de un 240z

What is a California Black Plate? Does it allow t drive this beauties unlimited on the California highways?
Beautiful!
Gorgeous
What a beauty!
I'll take it. How much?
I would love to buy a gorgeous old car, that had completely modernized engine, transmission, steering, suspension, and safety. I'd love to own a replica, esthetically, but a nice reliable Lexus underneath because that thing, is a POS. A Very pretty POS, but there ain't nothing worth keeping under that hood. That being said, Richard Carpenter is a god damn musical genius. While I think his love of cars is misguided, the man is on musical Mt Rushmore alongside Brain Wilson, Marvin Gaye, the Beatles, Hendrix and Jimmy Page.
What size wheels do you have on this beauty?
FIAT needs to put the 128 back into production
Best of the best ❤
Had blue plain Jane 318 holly carb awesome truck
spettacolo
Awesome! I know those roads around Oxnard too!
Stright pipe?
Do you know where to buy parts for it
I had a 79 short box W150 Power Wagon, 4x4 360 4sp NP 435 transmission NP 203 full time four wheel drive. When off road you would lock the transfer case and the truck was unstoppable by far the best off road truck I've ever owned. I used it to explore the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and the Arrowhead of Minnesota year round as long as the tires had traction it would go anywhere.
Классика она и на Марсе классика,люблю американские ретро машины.
Awesome
What a classic beauty. Thanks for sharing her. ☮️💙
Thank you!
I love the two tone exterior paint on the SZ's. Sets the car off from just being monotone. Beige over brown is beautiful.
1966 Chevy trucks had oil bath air cleaners.
Actually, during the 1960s, Chevrolet offered 3 different air cleaner options. A basic paper filter. A heavy duty paper. And an oil bath.
No way. Just saw this on facebook
Very sharp❤
