my favorite was the one that you liked, that bathroom was amazing! however, lol I would only live in a 1 level tiny home, I could not do that ladder or steep stairs and I would only live there if I was living alone. that is toooooo close quarters for me to share with other people lol

I think it is interesting that even brand new things with tags are priced higher than the store price.

We don't do it, but we do refocus and set new goals for finances. Living through seasonal layoffs has definitely affected our mindset.

How can they justify those prices? Isn't it meant to be a charity shop? Free donations and the profits go to a specific charity? Dollar tree looks so fun! No such shops in Denmark.

No spend January is not a great idea as SOOOO many things are at a deep discount during January. It helps keep our overall budget down.

I tried "no spend" challenges last year. Failed spectacularly! Lots of binge spending before and after. There are too many rules. This time, I think I have a good system (for me) figured out. I am trying to get rid of some debt, so here is what I am going to do. Only 2 rules. #1 The amounts I have budgeted for savings and debt repayment are non-negotiable and can not be changed. #2 I can buy anything that I want as long as it is paid for in cash. No credit card use! No online shopping! Basically this means that any extras will come out of my grocery/gas money. If I decide that I want that certain something, and am willing to eat beans and rice for awhile, okay. Wish me luck!

Great video!! Im all for no spend life. Lol i invest my money in fresh healthy whole foods, very low cost home excersize equipment, only necessary equipment for my home and garden. Ive managed to save quite a bit and im healthy enough to enjoy the extra on occasion. Spending and material items are a literal addiction that i have greatly moderated over the last several years. Totally changed my life for the better. I would much rather have fresh healthy food and good health than a new phone or any number of things i dont actually need.

The world was ending in 2019.... I bought a lot. Now I am eating that stuff. Lost a few mayonnaise jars, but all in all, it was OK. Have not bought coffee for 3 years. Stocking up again now. So curious about current prices and shrink containers. I think we have a big bump coming. Must restock

Buc-ee's is a very silly place. As far as places you can pull off the Interstate for a break, it is an excellent choice. The Cherry-Maple is the only jerky that has such an artificial taste. I could recommend a few but almost any of them besides the Cherry-Maple is very good. My fave right now is the Texas Philly Cheesesteak. I haven't been in several months though.

Yes Goodwill is getting way too expensive. I used to love .99 cents jean Saturdays. When I have gone in there lately the stuff I have found I know I can get on sale new for almost the same price. It's sad

Our Goodwill has been too expensive for several years. I don't know what they're thinking with that. The dollar store haul and tour of the town was fun!
