A RF detector dosent nessesarly pick up cameras, but rather picks up frequencys that would also be triggered by radios and such so the first thing you would eant to do is check to see if anything would be transmitting frequencies around that area. Secondarily you would want to check your wifi to see if there is any bugs linked to it. If theres a camera you should see the light flashed back at tou pretty bright, you can also use a flashlight. It should be pretty obvious, the red light only makes it easier to see since red is a light thats typically harder for your eyes to pick up so when it hits a camera it will seem to glow brighter but the more heavy duty the flashlight is the brighter the light reflected back would be

Useless - as she showed the WiFi bleeps at everything. The IR light and viewfinder can't reveal my hidden camera unless I'm stood precisely in front of it at the same height. It claims to be able to detect magnetic GPS trackers but it can't detect a strong magnet. The only useful thing on it is the torch, but you can get a torch for less than $50

Or maybe get a man and stay at home with him and your kids.
