This brings back so many memories😭 Even tho I started playing during Christmas 2014 I still got to experience the game before it changed so much to where it became unrecognizable😢

i’d do absolutely anything to go back. one of the best parts of my life. the absolute sheer joy i had on this game. i’m glad i still have old footage of me having an amazing time playing. dont like the direct sso has gone now so i dont play anymore..

this is the the star stable i remember

i was never an old sso player but i would watch honey heart c play it and it reminds me of being a little kid and begging my parents to buy me and my sister computer so we could play, im still kinda upset i never got to play old sso. it was a lot happier and there was actually a challenge like having to wait for the jorvik city bus, which color a trailer was is where it could go and etc. theres no challenge which means theres barely anything to do rlly. if they ever update mistfall and remove the screaming i am going to loose it.

I wish I could back in time with time machine or just have some videos, but I just have photos from my facebook from old star stable

Little do we know, how important ambient sounds could be. Now SSO is so quiet, nothing is going on in the background.

We're working on restoring it with a few friends, it may take some time getting any progress, but I'm not giving up again. BetterSSO, despite being spyware, proved that a full restoration is possible.

I would give so much to experience that old Star Stable again... I grew up playing this game, making videos and learning how to edit them as a little 11 year old. I miss old characters, old horses, old UI, old map, even old bugs and creepy pastas. I miss those carefree days which I would spend role playing with other people, when 2GEN Shire from Fort Pinta was my favorite horse, and I would beg my mom to buy me star coins for a new Icelandic Pony, because I loved it so much. Now I'm an adult, unable to find that spark in this game anymore. Steve's Farm is desolated now, the only people role playing are children in the age of 9-12, most of the graphics have changed entirely, the plot is different, the game got corrupted by cheaters... Sorry for my little nostalgic babbling. I just miss those days. I wanna be a child again.

I didn't play back in those days, but I joined the community in 2018, where roleplays were the main thing, that's what made me one, since I didn't have Roblox back then, which made me a true role player..

It was exactly this time when my life was perfect. I got up during the holidays and immediately started playing Star Stable. This feeling was indescribable and now everything is a memory

I have adapted to the new version, but there is something about watching these old memories that make me want to cry. I really enjoyed those times and while some parts definitely need an update, I wish we had a mix of both worlds

They need to have a horse bazaar sale with the gen 1 fjords, north Swedish horses, Arabians, and friesian/Andalusian models. I would buy star coins in a heartbeat for that!!

I wish I could go back in time and get a fjord and more frezzies.. can’t believe I sold my first ever bought horse back then, it was the gen1 chestnut arabian with shiny hooves :( I regret selling it after seeing how starstable retires all those beloved gen1’s 💔💔

This is so nostalgic... I started playing in 2013. The whole vibe of the game was different, more mysterious. I don't necessarily think that the game is worse now. Players that started playing in these early years have grown up and that's probably why we don't have that same feeling + the game esthetics changed. It would be very nice if we could get to enjoy the good old times again. Such a happy place <3
