The queen has returned!!! 45 minute Sophie video ATEEEEEE. I loved learning about your processes smmmm. Tbh the orginal ending for project WHAT is disturbingly cool but you know-an entire trilogy slays so hard. Project WHAT has my heart even if I’ve never read it LOL. I actually have pretty similar processes lol. I built up my most-developed trilogy book by book until realizing that it wasn’t very streamlined and had to rework all the lore and replan the entire trilogy to get it fixed. That was completely on me bc i always knew it was going to be a trilogy, i was just too lazy to actually outline it fully and worked book by book until karma hit me LOL. I finally learned and outlined my superhero trilogy before wrriting it haha. Currently in act 3 of book 2 and it’s going well but we’ll see what happens lolz

i only got into your videos super recently (like within three days i think) but i have been having sm fun. they've gotten me really motivated to write a zero draft for one of my stories, since i always get stuck in outlining hell and never sit down and write my stuff. i think i suffer with perfectionism, but watching your vlogs about writing books 1 and 2 of project star (?) has reminded me that sometimes all i need to do is jsut get the story down and then i can always come back to it and keep working on it. conrgats on achieving your challenge! i hope you have a lovely day and the rest of your writing goes well <3

I am pansting my current WIP so I didn't have to outline, although I am sure there will be a lot of rearranging of plot points for the next draft.

Ive only just had this video pop up on my feed but it was fun to watch and definitely inspiring as I work on a short story

I love taking my physics knowledge and putting it into my stories, like totally not necessary for the book I am writing currently given that it is complete fantasy but I have realms interacting with each other through quantized energy levels and realms stick together like covalent bonds.

I decided not to do camp with all of the stuff I am already doing this July, so I am just writing spuratically

I generally write 4-5k words once a week, but that's because I really only write once or twice a week so it is like all of my words for the week.

I always find it interesting that you don't make that many character notes I until you start writing. Most of my outlining is just figuring out the characters because then I find they kind of write the story themselves.
