Former Student Reveals Unknown Secret To Scoring In 99th% On UCAT | UCAT Secrets
These SJ questions are totally subjective, in my view. None of the answers addresses the key problem in this scenario, which is Delilah's difficulties with the course workload. She should seek extra help with the work. If she can't get that, then she should stick it out and hope things get better, that's what I did when I was a student and was having similar problems. (things got better for me). If it doesn't get any better then dropping out of the course might be the best option. This isn't like numerical or verbal reasoning tests where there is a right and wrong answer.
Why did RUclips decide to recommend this video a day after I do my UCAT 😭😭😭😭
By far the best video for SJ. I don’t think anyone will end up with anything lower than 1 after watching this. I really appreciate it. Thank you
25:49 don’t think anyone noticed that ever letter has a line of symmetry, that a pattern as well?
Is it me or this mock is so much easier compared to the ones on Medify now
Especially qr like whattt????
@@sa-kr4by and verbal
This test is crazy easy compared to the ones on Medify now
as an american, i commend you for having to go through this.... it seems like the questions themselves arent terrible, but the TIME LIMIT FOR EACH SECTION?? OUCH!
yep, and your expected to get a score of 2700+ or your not going to university
nah for verbal reasoning he really helped me improve. The key thing is how he eliminates 2 statements and focuses on 2 statements. this helped imrprove my score from 600 to 800. i think his attitude is very important. he seems to be enthuisiastic and optomistic and sees this enjoyable like a game rather then a chore. so change your attitude :)
how do you know which 2 statements to eliminate
@@rngss9541 when you read the article its quite obvious which ones are wromg
Basically did that method in my exam today got 670 so I’ll take it😂
I really keep getting a very bad mock score , it reaches around 2160 and just band 3. I really don't know where I am going wrong when ive been practicing a lot of questions untimed ( timed since the start of this month). my exam is just 10 days far and I am really nervous.. do you have any suggestions..
Revisit the questions that you got wrong and see whether they are similar in topic. E.g. in DM I realised that I’ve been getting probability questions wrong or panicking when I see them. So I focused on the feedback (I used Medify) and memorised the working. So to put it in short hone in the questions you get wrong
@@auntywho4727 thank you so much
I’m in the same boat rn too and my ucat is 4 days away, if possible could you please share what score you achieved and how you improved to get there. Thanks a lot I really need any help I can get tbf
such a helpful video to see your thought process in action. mental maths ability is insane
Would you say reading out helps in verbal reasoning?
For DM, how did you quickly know which questions to skip? Like for logic puzzles i look at it briefly and genuinely dont know whether it would be one of those easy ones or really lengthy ones
What about the cut-offs ucat for Rural/Regional students?
Great content thank you very much
Really helphfull but make passage visible our eyes don't work like microscope
MOST OF THE TIME, THE QUESTION HAS CONTENT LONG SENTENCES THAN YOU PRESENTED THE VIDEO
I keep getting low for my mocks I’ve done over 2000 practise wuestions I studied all throughout summer but each wuestion appears to be different in QR and AR I’m absolutely heartbroken it’s my first time taking it and I feel shattered hours and hours of revision and my exam is three days away I know feel so upset I’m literally crying right now
are you reviewing your questions and reflecting why your getting them wrong?
yeh i did that ansd whenever im on medify questions are different@@darranrasakumar1779
more videos please
I love your videos
very useful
Isn’t DM pretty much like SJT?
I know you are working out loud because you are doing a demonstration for us but in the real UCAT we can’t vocalize and that’s a pain. If only we can speak aloud that can really be helpful.
Hi
Hi
Can you please make more videos on situational judgement questions like this? And provide links to practice? The link in the description box doesn't work
Next time repeat the question of the mumbling student. Thank you. 4:20 decide per bottom square set a, or b, or neither, or both which is neither. checking for positive a is not enough. The recurring advice is to gamble on first 2 questions of a category. to save time for the rest. 16:11 you see top is all white, but 3 black in options. So options are ABC, but why. -> there must be a movement in the black -> then heart goes up/down. but why is A wrong and B correct? All points to A. it's because inverting from white to black swaps it. The arrow change rotates 180 degrees, so you say the trapezoid is mirrored. That logic is just incorrect. So now I also need to take into account the IQ of the guys making these puzzles. 25:51 there's another pattern, presence of Z. That makes it Neither Neither A A. So tell my why your pattern is more valid than mine. 32:00 not 40, at least 67 probably 100. Impossible to remember the patterns. 38:31 but both shapes are concave, and the circle is convex.
Thank you for this video. I find it helpful
What if I'm interstate rural?
last question says cystic fibrosis is a genetic disorder but in the paragraph it says it's a common recessive disorder . how did u say it's true then ?
I have the exact same question - I noted it as False because it said "recessive"... hoping for a better exaplanation
"For example, cystic fibrosis....", what is it an example off??? Read the line above. Since it's discussing Genetic disorders therefore cystic fibrosis is an example of that. It then further specifies it as a common recessive disorder, however it is still an example of a genetic disorder.
@@its_not_lux thanks alot.
life saver
can you upload vr and dm
i didnt understand q28 dm
bro you sound just like richi sunak
for the "there is no dispute" question, it said in the first passage one possible definition so from that it must be false
this felt so easy yet medify seems so hard. VR is my lowest by far :c
I agree, and same for me as well, VR was my lowest on medify practice questions and it was also the section I performed the worst when I sat my actual UCAT just three hours ago haha... But one thing I thought is that medify VR practice questions can have extremely long texts (like 700 words when in the actual test I think it was around 200-300 words) which will end up with you running out of time easily. So, I think for Verbal Reasoning questions, it might be better for you to take a look at practice questions on the official UCAT website or to take a look at Verbal Reasoning questions on the full 2 hour mock test on medify if you want to actually simulate the questions with time limit (those two sources have Verbal Reasoning questions very similar to the ones you see in the actual test in my opinion). But UCAT VR questions of the "practice" section of medify can still be very useful for improving your text related skills! (like improving reading speed, how fast you can catch important information etc)
@@avanzjp6831 will try that, thanks! And I hope you did well overall :)
@@NotSmasher Overall, it was completely fine and thanks by the way! :D
I think something that improved my scores in verbal reasoning tests is reading the article as if I have no clue of the subject, throwing away all prior knowledge and systematically scanning for keywords. Now at least I don’t get tricked by some stupid cannot tell questions that plays on your favoring of any sentence that lean towards your prior knowledge of the subject or your common sense
How can we join this programme?
I hv my ucat in a few hours. Im so scared
How did it go
@@AIContentx not gooddd 😅😅
@@allegrahanda6567what did u do and what are u doing now?
This section was probably the section I struggled with the most, as i would always get partial marks, this explanation towards picking these answers was extremely helpful, so thank you!
Are requirements lower for internationals students
Do you not recommend flagging questions to come back to them at the end? or just leaving them incomplete.
Thankyou so much after doing these I am literally finding answers in less than a minute!
He probably done this paper before I'm sure 😂
but if for example verbal reasoning has 44 questions and we get a point for each right question then in total cant we only get 44 points not 900?
the score is based on a scale up depending on how many students of the cohort get it right... at least thats what I got from that
Passage/ questions way too easy. And where’s the comprehensions?
Abstract reasoning is such BS. Some squares, counting sides, are you kidding me? because there is not enough context, multiple solutions are possible and you are half-guessing the answers without a way to really look for additional cues and proof to make a solid choice.
So you are not giving any useful TIP!!! Just there are different types of questions and options!!!
y r u in a car park
Thanks you! This helps a lot
Would you advise learning to speed read by removing subvocalisation for verbal reasoning thanks
