Excellent. A few years ago I was in Grass Valley, CA and came across a chairmaker with a bench like this. I couldn't remember what it was called, and he didn't know the name either. For some reason, I thought it was called a 'horse'. I have no idea why. But I am glad to now find out the name is a bowyer's bench. I will remember, it seems incredibly useful.

Maybe a walk through to get a feel of the house and how the kitchen is connected to the other rooms. I'm always looking for renovation ideas and the fact you'll be using butcher block has me hooked; I'll be using it in my kitchen upgrade.

I have an old 1985 Toyota Dolphin motorhome. It's like a box of toothpicks. I would only rebuild it with steel or aluminum tube, because they always leak, and subsequently the wood will always rot.
