You got your reference wrong multiple times... you reference Matt 25, when it's 24.... you also take it out of context. Indeed Christ comes like a thief in the night... Peter tells us WHEN this happens... 2 Peter 3:10... when the heavens are destroyed with a great noise. He was referencing what he heard from Christ... Matt 24:35-50. Christ told us that the heavens would be destroyed.... AND OF THAT DAY... no man knows the day or the hour.... but that it would be as the time of Noah and Lot... and one person would be taken and another left.... Again it happens when the heavens are destroyed.... Jesus was quoting Job... 14:12... Job tells us that man dies and does not rise again (resurrection of the dead) until the heavens are no more. Jesus, Peter and Job all state the same TIMING.... the heavens being destroyed. Paul directly calls the event "the resurrection of the dead"... 1 Cor 15:42-55... which is what he didn't want us ignorant about in 1 Thess 4:13-18. You simply cannot have multiple events of a resurrection of the dead, because the purpose of the resurrection of the dead is for the dead in Christ to get their physical terrestrial Earth suits returned to them... resurrected... for the purpose of ruling and reigning on a physical terrestrial Earth without being ghosts or disembodied spirits. The reason John Nelson Darby coined the terms "rapture" and "second coming" ...circa 1830...was for the purpose of dividing 'the resurrection of the dead" into multiple events.... Rev 20:4-6 informs us that those martyred for not taking the mark are resurrected at the FIRST resurrection.... The reason that the term "rapture" must be used is so that what happens with the dead in Christ at His return can remain "ignorant"... 1Thess 4;13. Prior to Darby, "rapture' was a never used as a name for an event.... The question remains for the rapturist... which event... "rapture" or "second coming" does the dead get their physical bodies returned to them so that they can rule and reign with Christ for 1000 years on a terrestrial realm? ... and why does Paul directly state that these terrestrial bodies... 1 Cor 15:40-55... do not inherit Heaven.... vs 50? Yet the rapturists all falsely teach that people are raptured to heaven for a period of time with their newly acquired Earth suits...so that they can hang out in a different realm, then the realm of the physical body?

The ignorance that Paul was addressing was a result of the teaching of the Sadducees.... who taught that there was no resurrection of the dead... Acts 23:8-10. Both accounts of 1 Cor 15;42-55, 1 Thess 4:13-18 were those in which Paul addresses the resurrection of the dead... in fact he directly calls the event "the resurrection of the dead" in verse 42. Paul didn't want us ignorant of what happens to the dead in 1 Thess 4. Jesus and Paul directly warn us about deception concerning this event... 2 Thess 2:1-3, Matt 24:3,4. The art of deception for a magician is redirection. The concept of the resurrection of the dead maintains the focus on the dead. The new term "rapture", not in Scripture, redirects the focus on the living. Twice in this video we are told that the living 'follow' the dead... however Paul states that the living are caught up together.... what are they caught up together with? We have a terrestrial (flesh and blood, (physical) body and a celestial(spiritual glorified body...1 Cor 15:42,44,50, Phil 3:19,20) body. When we die, the physical flesh and blood body rots in the grave, and the spiritual body becomes glorified when it meets Christ in glory... 2 Cor 5:8. When the dead in Christ return to rule and reign with Him, then again need physical Earth suits so that they are not ghosts or disembodied spirits. They once again, come from the dust of the Earth... Paul states that the RISE FIRST... 1 Thess 4... How do they do that if verse 14 tells us that they are with Christ in the clouds? Simple.... it's they physical corpse that is rising first out of the dust of the Earth... these physical bodies are then 'caught up TOGETHER" with those who are alive and remain... to the clouds where Christ and the spiritual bodies are waiting to be reunited with their physical Earth suits. Paul directly states that these physical bodies do not go to heaven... see vs 50.. with the context of 1 Cor 15:42-55.

Reflecting on this week's lesson, it also brings to mind stories I've read on successful business leaders. How the best of which don't surround themselves with "yes men" but rather are open minded to ideas of others.
