Well done Mila. I had privilege to meet him and chat with him on several ocassions. He was true patriot, that literally put Macedonia above all in his life. He was type of person that you just see his face and you feel that you met sincere and honest man. May he rest in peace and it is our obligation and debt to him amd Macedonia, to continue his struggle for human rights so he is not forgotten

Ironically, the "Tsamiko" dance they were performing in the pro-Greek Macedonian club ain't Greek at all but Albanian one. It comes from Epirus, which the Albanians call "Çamëri", and the demonym for a person from there is "Çam", hence the name of the dance which Greeks pronounce "Tsamiko" due to the "CH" sound not existing in the Greek language. Orthodox Christian Albanians that are called "Arvanites" in Greece were settled in Greece from Epirus by the Venetian rulers of continental Greece, due to the demographic devastation of huge regions of it during the Ottoman conquest, were a sizeable community throughout pre-1913 Greece, and it took some time for them to become "good Greeks", and some even speak Albanian at home today, a fact best illustrated by the anti-Macedonian Greek politician Teodoros Pangalos who has admitted that his parents are Arvanites who speak Albanian at home. The rosy myth of Greek superiority and purity is as comical and absurd as it is destructive and violent, responsible for so much personal and collective human tragedies, just to forge an illusion of a "homogenous", "pure" and "ancient" Greek nation holding a monopoly over the entire historical heritage of antiquity.

One thing more. Most of the people in Bansko are Very Pro Bulgarian and in the past still loved their Macedonian brothers and sisters in N. Macedonia but no longer. They are angry at N. Macedonia’s attitudes toward Bulgaria and Bulgaria has taken away Pirinska Makedonia pride and culture and replaced it with Bulgarian pride which would be ok since it’s part of Bulgaria but should have allowed Macedonian culture to continue and exist as well as dialects…Funny how people on both sides even though the same have been programmed by each government to dislike their own kind.

I totally agree with the analogy to Palestine and have used it in the past so we think alike on this as well as other things discussed. My mother from Pirin and my father from Aegeska…pure blooded!

Yes they do sell citizenship but for me who was born in USA and whose parents were both born in Bulgaria and my mother from Pirin, I was denied after 5 years of BS and I did it all myself with the nearby Consulate but Did Not Pay anyone and that was my mistake. So to say the least, I no longer feel that I am Bulgarian. Bulgaria made that decision…lastly, on both sides of my family during Ottoman times, great great grandfathers were Bulgarian Priests but that meant nothing so that says a lot too..

@Mila_Makedonija please don't refer to Albanians as Illirians, it's a recent history. We know from where they came. You can see the similarity among these tribes (greeks, albanians, and bulgars) they all try so hard to represent themselves that are natives. As for the Palestinians unfortunately they have the same faith as Macedonians and Irish. Mila Makedonija it would be nice if you could collaborate with your guest to provide recordings of the statements of these bulgars towards the Macedonians in Pirin. I believe that if we spread them finally every one will see the true face of bulgars

It's interesting how far greeks go to play stupid when the наши, старски is in Macedonian. They have to despise them selfs a lot to make these irrational statements and have them recorded

The problem is that they still keep the theory that Slavic people are not native to this territory.

I like the ending text message that actually explains all of it-the song, our history, our present and our tragedy...all done by the chauvinists governments of Greece and Bulgaria in the first hand and then Albania and Serbia in second hand. Hitler was defeated but not fascism, sadly. Macedonians are experiencing genocide to this day So thank you for these videos. Greece are doing everything in their power to make people forget about the massacre and terrorism done to our people. I hope that one day all of those old interviews from the Macedonian survivors, will be available in English for the whole world to see and hear.
