250 & 390 has different characters, haven't ridden 250 much but what I have experienced is on long tour, 390 will be much better and will give better economy at higher speed eg 110/120. If you like to cruse at 70-80 or max 90 then 250 is good for milage but engine will feel stressed above 100 whereas 390 won't feel anything like that till 130-140.

If you love electronics and safety, then go for 390 else 390x is good enough if you have good control. I would suggest you to wait for 390 2025 variant, few months away from launch! 🙂

Hello brother, the issue was still there.. so they replaced Camshaft and Piston. I paid the price for all the components. Will talk about it in details in my upcoming vlogs.

@@RastaDastaan ok. I somehow feel the service interval is misleading or it's the oil as everyone suspects. I own the Adv-x and clocked 11k kms with 2 servicing. I have noticed that my bike burns 1ml every 6km based on measurements done during oil change. Changing to motorex would void the warranty hence just keeping my eye out and top-up every 500kms uptill max mark.

Yup, this engine almost consumes 100-200 ml oil per 1000km. This happens with every ktm 390 engine.

​@@RastaDastaan No brother, it happens with every brand's engine but most of the owners don't bother themselves to check the engine oil level regularly, that's why they don't notice it. Now i ride an XPulse 200, it happens with the XPulse as well.

​@@sachinhosmani1788Even the same thing will happen with the Motorex...brother. Every brand's every kind of engine oil level drops & it's so normal, that's why we need to top-up after every 500km/700km.
