Welcome to our church without walls, which features livestreamed worship, recorded sermons, and videos that reflect the life and spirit of our faith community. Sitting on the shores of Rangeley Lake and at the base of Saddleback Mountain, Church of the Good Shepherd is an Episcopal faith community that seeks to be a house of prayer where all individuals and families are welcome and can grow and flourish in the radical love of God. We believe Church happens not just inside the building we call “church”, but in the gathered community that is church: wherever and however the people happen to gather. Eternal God, Your Son was glorified on earth together with You, with the glory which He had with You before the world was. I thank You for sending Your only begotten Son so that we could all be saved and so that we could have an example on how to live on earth. so during this transfiguration Sunday, I thank You for the glorification of Your Son and the power that was made known in Him, because I believe that we too can experience Your power here on earth, Amen.
So true. I would love to transfer my anointing as a pastor and priest to ECUSA but the snag has been the bureaucratic “process” that is severely different depending on who one speaks to. Diversity is difficult and barely exists as most churches consider the 19th century pipe organ, it’s hymns, and it’s worship as standard. Mandatory Postlude listening is like making me sit through the credits of a movie. We need to enter the 21st century with a fierce determination to exorcise the demons of society. As we seek answers from weaker disciplines such as politics and media, the Church needs to step up as the only discipline that can defeat Satan and truly embrace all God’s children in such a tight cradle that nothing evil happens in our communities. We have the power and the anointing to make this so. 🙏✝️🙏
