Woah that cafeteria is used in The Misadventures of Tron Bonne. Also with the Stripe burger restaurant, at a certain point in the game, you can go to city hall and a servbot is there to file papers for opening a restaurant by Tron's orders. I love how characters change positions, dialogue and even entirely new characters are added as you progress through the game and take your time to explore the city often. It feels so charming because of it.

It’s actually pretty obvious imo. At least if you base it on its secret use in Wily 2 i think it was. See, theres a segment with invisible pitfalls in the floor that drop you through if you walk on them. In some cases, to less ideal routes, but in others directly onto death spikes. And backtracking in mega man games due to spontaneous death is rarely fun. Using the bubble lead here will completely give away these locations before you actually pass over them as it simply falls through the floor instead of continuing along the normal path. It LEADS YOU. Bubble LEAD. It falls upon being launched. Sure. Like most if not ALL bubbles that aren’t either carried by air current or filled with special gasses.

I wonder if they had an idea for something akin to the N64 Logo, what with how it was constantly manipulated in different ways. But they probably saw it as extraneous to the console's function, especially since unlike the N64, the logo would be on the system itself rather than the games.
