Plan with Me - How I use my planner system
What a well behaved dog!
New can be on rare occasions
Having a dedicated spot to work on is so nice! I have an 8’ folding table, plastic stackable bins, a full cupboard with a stacked lazy Susan in the kitchen for craft supplies only, and dedicated shelves on the bookshelf to keep supplies on.
I've thought about getting a lazy Susan for my stuff as well. My table isn't quite big enough to fit one and work with it there. Lovely idea!

I use double sided tape for everything I stick down in my journal. I’ve not used the glue pen like the blue one you mentioned. Would you say it’s better than the double sided tape? What is the brand? And can you get that at Hobby lobby?
The glue pen brand is Recollections, and I bought it at Michael's. I know... so surprising! I am not sure if they are at Hobby Lobby or if that brand is specific to Michael's. I carry both the double-sided tape runner and glue pens. When scrapbooking and journaling, I do tend to use the tape most. However, there are times the glue is needed, especially with heavier items or bigger spaces. It's more cost-effective and can get a better bond but does need the time to dry.
I always thought you colored beautifully when you were young ❤
Nice!! I’m totally with you on adding Velcro to those pouches. I received a beautiful bag from my nephew and his wife who made amazing carry all bags for their business. But every time that bag fell over everything on the inside fell out. I suggested to them that they add Velcro too before selling them.
Velcro solves everything!
Great!
Taking my delphonics pouch in my carryon for first time in a few weeks. Curious how yours did on your trip. I won’t put anything in outside pockets until I arrive at my final destination.
You have great timing! I have an update video coming out this Wednesday, specifically on the pouch. And I have a solution for the outside pockets too! I have to admit, though, I'm still "moving in" and getting it how I want it.
Sculpey isn't an air dry clay, it's an oven bake clay. But it shouldn't be an issue to bake it in the tin. When I make these, I use the little square half pans, or, at least I plan to. I bought the stuff to do it like a year ago, and never got around to making it. I even have a Bob Ross mints tin I'm going to use. And recently I found a mint tin at Five Below that looks like a Nintendo controller, so the idea was back in the forefront of my mind. I was planning on flying very small magnets to the bottoms of the half pans so they're removable but will also stay in place. But, as I said, I haven't actually gotten around to doing it yet, so I can't say exactly how well it will work out. The sculpey idea is definitely a good one!
Ok, the magnet idea is genius. Being able to change them out would be nice and definitely something I should try in the future. Also love the idea of using the Bob Ross tin. I've seen those around and think it'll be perfect.
Just my two bits, but I think the Sculpy bottom and sides will help deter rust on your mint tin. Very cute! Have you considered using a craft knife to scratch the paper off the top of the paints? Wetting first may make it easier as well.
I will definitely give it a try! I have a small craft knife that'd work, and I can wet them down some to see. Thanks for the idea!
Clever! thanks ⁀°•✿ ❤
Thank you for tuning in!
Really nice! thank you!
Glad you like it!
I do these, too, but I just use magnetic tape to arrange the half pans.
That is a good idea for making it easier to change out. This is my first try, so there is room for improvement! I will say once I filled the tin, it was fairly heavy, and I wish I had left it more open.
I’m going to do something like this for a granddaughter artist! Thanks for the hints!
Such a good idea! Can't wait to give it a try myself
🎉
Oh honey!!! I am not worried about that at all. :-) thank you very much for this tutorial. I love it and just might try it :-)Great job!!!
Thank you! It turned out pretty good all things told
I really like the layout of this one!
Thank you!
ADVENT CALENDAR
That's the word! Thank you
The color is so cute and bright :) I just got a striped one so I’m trying to determine what “essentials” to put in it , thanks!
Thank you! It is so bright and sunny to look at and brings a smile to my face. I always pack with a carry-on and don't know what sort of cutting options I could stash in there. Any thoughts?
I just discovered TN's a couple of years ago and first tried them out as a Planner but soon learned that my Planner Life is too boring and the standard size TNs were "too big." BUT, I think they will be perfect for journaling and will be using them in the future! I love that you are using stickers from years ago! I feel like Scrapbooking got so "fancy" and labor-intensive, expensive, and out of control, that it was abandoned, only to be replaced by something simpler, more personal, casual, affordable, and accessible! Thanks for sharing!
I know exactly what you mean. I've been scrapbooking for almost 30 years now, I think, and I started very young. Because of that, I really approached it scrappy and with a tiny allowance budget. I've never fully gotten into the more expensive large and complex layouts due to that start. I think journaling with my supplies is a happy medium. We all have too many stickers that need to be used, right!? As a new TN user, I can see why it has such a following. The size options and fillers are great for whatever your needs, and customizing it is half the fun!
That is beautifully done!
Thank you! I'm quite proud
This one just seemed to fall into place with how it went! Great job!
Thank you so much! And thank you for staying tuned.
Great video! Just wish there was a way one could keep all of those items from falling out of the outside pockets when the pack gets tipped. I want to go through my amazing carry-on travel bags that I’ve acquired and put Velcro on all of those Open pockets - I am so tired of things starting out in the side pockets now falling to the bottom of my bag because it got tipped sideways. Large safety pins in the meantime :-)
Safety pins is such a helpful tip! I'll have to see what I have in my sewing kit. Velcro or snaps would work. I think I'll add snaps since they can be hand sewed easier. Now you have me thinking!
I love seeing the progression pf the eeveelution! this is so fun! Can’t wait to see the next ones!
Thank you! I'll do my best not to disappoint!
🙌🏽 looks great! Nice job, looking forward to the next one!
Thank you!! Glad to have you following along 😀
Love it! Great way to remember him!
Thank you. I think it's important to have a place where I can go see him still. Outside of my phone.
Wish you had mentioned where you got the magnetic flip pen
I actually got it from the Michaels website at www.michaels.com/product/itoya-journal-sidekick-black-magnetic-pen-holder-D272217S I'm sure there might be other places it is sold as well.
Complimenti! Bellissimo scrapbook! You are so lucky to have a sister as a travel buddy!.
Thank you! She is the best travel buddy I could ask for! It is amazingly helpful in that we usually want to see the same things.
Thanks for sharing. I always like to see how people set up their tns!
Me too! And with the new Tokyo set coming out, I'm trying to remind myself that I don't need to add anything. Yet 😆
@@KimbosCrafts ahh yes, very tempting but I ended up ordering only an insert and the charms because they are so cute!
@tortagialla That's what I was considering. Will need my budget to catch up with me first, but a refill is always useful.
I just discovered TN's last year and switched from the A5s I have used for DECADES to Standard Size TNs for my Planner Set-up! I have 3 Inserts: Monthly, Weekly, and a Blank for Reference, Lists, and Notes. Of course I bought All.The.Things! I also have the Passport Size (just Monthly plus a Blank for Notes on the go) that I keep in my purse. I love the flexibility and having fewer pages than a bound notebook helps me to "compartmentalize" and organize by subject or purpose, which satisfies my dominant Left Brain! I still use my "collection" (aka "my hoard") of larger, book-bound notebooks for lengthy journaling sessions, but the TNs are wonderfully flexible and sized well for lists, daily thoughts or notes, functionality, etc. I can't believe you got SIX notebooks into that cover!
I could not agree more. I'm just getting back into my journal after decades, so the small size of the standard TNs is perfect so far. I do like to add pictures and things which make it a little too small. It's perfect for notes like you said, which is why I think for traveling, the passport/pocket size is perfect, and then I can make larger spreads later. It's always a work in progress! I do have an A5 leather bound journal I will probably get back into using when I have the habit down and start to need that space. I was also surprised it fit all 6! I don't think it could handle one more. It's a great everyday carry option, and the leather feels more rugged, so I can just throw it in my bag and go. I still have that new TN thing going on where I don't want to mess up the cover.
You just about described my plan for 2025 - TN for my everyday planner with Monthly, weekly and blank for daily by Sterling Ink and use a passport size to carry in my purse with just a monthly and blank notebook! This year I used a Hobonichi type notebook made by Sterling Ink.
This turned out so beautifully. He was a great cat and had a very funny personality. This box definitely shows that! ❤
❤
Awesome ❤!
I’ve always been a fan on grass/plant pokemon. They are so cute, one of my few exceptions is castform! Love the video, I was hoping you would use a little leaf sticker for a tail on the little leafeon in the corner 😂 Can’t wait to see the other ones!
That's such a good idea! I'll have to go back and add it now.
Plant Pokemon or Grass Pokemon
One day I'll keep them straight 😆. But yes... grass energy type pokemon are plants. I think both work. 🪴

It would be great to hear a review on the paint markers and how well they hold up!
I'm looking forward to trying them out and a little nervous since I'll be totally new at it! I'll work them into a project soon so we can see.
Awesome art! Thanks for sharing your idea and collection!
Keep an eye out for the next one! Is there an eevolution you want to see next?
i love espeon & flareon
Flareons design is so fluffy!
I was almost expecting Eevees name to get put on the bottom for some reason. The art is so dang cute though! Love that you chose to have the cards in the sleeves instead of directly gluing them down. Im a big eeveelution collector myself 😊
Eevee is arevolution? Which is your favorite eevolution?
@@KimbosCrafts I have the most cards of eevee himself, but next to eevee Im gonna say sylveon for sure! But if were talking shinies then it has to be umbreon, its just too good!
I think my next video will be my favorite eevolution... I don't want to give it away but you'll know soon!
I vote Vaporean next!
I like that one. Already got some ideas flowing 😉 on that layout!
I love it! ❤
Thank you! Hope you found some inspiration
