We are a Veteran owned and operated custom Cerakote shop. While Firearms is a large portion of what we do, we love using Cerakote to customize and protect any and everything possible. Many people have asked for a behind the scenes look at what we do on a daily basis, and this seemed like a great way to give our customers that experience. This used Benelli SuperNova needed a fresh finish before it went out on the wall in the shop. Per Roberts request we laid down this fresh Cattail camo, and it should be available for purchase in the shop today!

Cool video but this is the music they like to play when they put you on hold and it makes me want to unalive myself.
Looks great but i really doubt it holds up to a traditional stipple job as far as grip goes.
That will have as bout as much grip as a wet fish.
Next time please dont use background music, but the laser sounds!!!!

It’s the same settings we use to burn off cerakote
@@TacticoolCerakote same settings, hmm you set a path specific for the smoothing in the software? Basically the same path as the design but you fill in the entirety?

But we just upgraded to the Tykma Virtus. Gonna be heading up there for training next week.

looks good! what grit or grits u use to remove the factory texture?
We use a combination of different grits to progressively remove the factory texture and polish the surface. In Glocks we normally start at 60 and end at 600

How much does a job like this cost? Do you guys make the stencils yourself? If so are there limitations, if I bring you a design can you cut the stencil out in various sizes to create a camo pattern?
Sorry for the delay in response! We can do custom patterns as well. A three color stencil job on a handgun is 370

It varies as we polish it down to a somewhat smooth finish.
I want my legion done but I want it stripped down to the nickel coating!!! But that’s nice right there!!

Ive got a muzzle loader that would be cool to do.. if you can figure out why the hammer and trigger are both in the fire position..
Nice..I appreciate how you show the disassembly and reassembly processes. Maybe state how long each step takes...decreasing and Cerakote curing times. 👍🏻
Times definitely vary for steps, depending on what we are doing. Some theme guns we have done in the past have been crazy time consuming. But I’ll definitely see what I can do. Cure times are published public info so the felt unneeded.
