I was very upset to see the city of Newark hire other people of color (white) living in the suburbs getting the fireman positions, and the citizens were completely left out. Then you had a second hiring and still again hire more white people from the suburbs from central, south Jersey. Then, on top of that, disrespect the citizens when you allow developers to refuse to hire citizens from Newark. I don't care if they hire them for labor position. Seems that you don't care that Newark is in the top 10 communities that have the highest poverty in the United States. Look it up. You stated that one of your directors didn't have enough staff to deal with the commission of equal opportunity of employment. We'll you need to HIRE MR TILLMAN. We don't care if you don't like him, he can speak up for the residents of Newark to get them hired. This makes the city government look bad. If you would represent the people like you represent Kamala Harris, we would be in good shape. Newark can do better if they want to. SMH
