I agree with Sam having speed as when you sprint he’s faster, but I’d say Raiden is stronger than sundowner. Sundowners strength feats are him picking up a piller (from what I remember) and raidens body slammed two giant metal gears and stopped a giant war ship with one of his arms were severed

@ Sundowner is stronger because he’s capable of swinging the Bloodlust machetes with ease like sticks, while Raiden can swing them only with effort. Besides, Sundowner is bigger and can push Raiden back, which automatically scales him above Raiden in terms of strength, which means that Sundowner can replicate all of Raiden’s feats and more.

@ok I can see where you’re coming from here, but I think with Sundowner pushing Raiden backwards isn’t a great feat of strength as even if you’re stronger than them and they have the mass of a god damn Rhino, It’ll definitely make you go backwards. Raiden is he was the same size as sundowner and same strength, would either stay in place due to his mass. Also it takes a while to properly master a weapon and the Bloodlust machetes are the size of his arms, cut him some slack here bro. And Raiden with these blades he “can’t use as good as sundowner” can defy grave for some reason and spin mid air with these exact same weapons he “can’t use good”. Sundowners weapons in general aren’t great for speed. Also when raiden does the scissor move he’s goes flying forward (BTW I have played MGR and I’m not some guy who thinks he knows everything about it. I assume you’ve also played the game as well)

@ I’ve played the game like 3 times and S ranked it, but it doesn’t really matter. It’s easy to assume Sundowner is physically weaker, but still, Raiden struggles to swing it while Sundowner does it with ease, because when I put Raiden to use the Bloodlust pincer blades he just doesn’t use it as fast as Sundowner. Yeah, they have poor dexterity but Sundowner demonstrates their use properly. Raiden’s not as beefy as Sundowner, so he does struggle to move them. Which should mean Sundowner is more physically capable than Raiden, because Raiden clearly has an easier time swinging a RAY than the pincer blades, why would he struggle even through the pincer blades are a weapon made for brutes? And why shouldn’t a cyborg brute be physically stronger than a cyborg ninja?

@ my head canon would be that Raiden uses it differently and uses it for slow but strong attacks to weaker some enemies to they can me Zandatsu’d and then uses his katana (his preferred and specialised weapon) to do faster and more skill filled attacks. I used to use the bloodlust machete but the success rate whenever I used the pincer move wasn’t grate so I’m just using the Murasama
