This is part 2 to the Dodge Patina Part 1 Video from a few weeks prior. In this video with wipe on two coats of Penetrol for a patina coating. It works very well! I later decided to go the extra step to wax the truck over the patina finish with mixed results. Spoiler Alert: Skip the wax. Patina coatings are best used on vehicles that predate the base coat / clear coat paints of modern vehicles....

In this episode we continue with the paint prep. We use the the orbital and flapper wheel to prep the siding. Next, we escalate from abrasives to heat in the form of the Red Devil Paint Remover - outlawed in 1978. Do not try this at home! Seriously, DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME.

In this unplanned video we drive 35 miles to investigate a sudden but subtle loss of coolant on a 2016 Ford C Max Energi, a plug in hybrid. The symptom was no heat while driving. It is throwing a P2601 Code. We see if we can limp it home to get it to our mechanic. Sometimes the Check Engine Light is serious and requires immediate attention. If your tuck or ute has peeling clear coat, try to wet sand / buff that off, first. Also, use something lint free to apply vs using a towel like I did. Good Luck!

I love jeeps. I own a 2000 tj. I had a 96 Cherokee. Lifted. Sold it. Now just the tj. With other vehicles I own
Which powertrain? My YJ is a 25 4cylinder with a 5 speed.
@ mine is a auto. I want to change it. I just picked up nice big wheels for mine along with a lift kit. My frame is welded up like most old jeeps are.
Have you tried Friendship Auto Parts in Friendship NJ? He had stuff dating back to the 20’s last time I was there probably been 15 years now. Down off Route 70 going towards Seaside Heights, New Road intersection. It’s listed as Tabernacle NJ but I always knew it as Friendship, I’m 54 and started going there when I was about 15. We got a 1/4 panel for my brother’s 64 Electra 225 coupe, he cut a 1/4th of the car off for us and loaded it in the trailer.

thanks for sharing the video. I'm looking at a couple of used ones today, so its good to see what is under the hood. My wife told me once the oil lite came on in the truck, and my heart sank, but it was just the check engine lite. evap code..lol. Hopefully things work out ok.
It turned out to be a secondary water coolant circulator pump. The part was initially on back order for a month, but they were able to source one quickly after that. It was around $1700 installed, though. The car is still very nice and has a lot of life left, but that is a hefty repair bill. Thanks for watching!
Bending the lines yourself will save you money in long term if you have many cars to bend the lines for and the equipment is not that expensive. I work in car restauration shop and we bend fuel and brake lines for all project cars ourselves because it's not really possible to buy pre-bent ones.
