a good video, but think of it this way, to time a grandfather clock, you wind the spring, or raise the weights, and adjust the ball at the bottom, this keeps things "in time", the steadycan is just that!, a pendullum, but with two masses, one on each end, and the bottom has the most distance to the pivot point (the clip to the vest) so more can be done at this end, and the rack movement of the camera is a "fine tune"

before i become a steadicam operator as a kid i was train in olimpic shooting i learn to brea this way and apply this camera , also i meet with this on taichi chuan and whushu ....very usefull

Nice video. But just letting you know, this method of Dynamic Balance is actually described in The Steadicam Operator's Handbook. 🙂 It is stated that you first Statically balance the rig and then move onto Dynamic balancing 👍

I think that if balance like this , a filter it’s added , lens it’s change your dinamic balance it’s off . Even worst if the director ask u to go pointing up or down also is of your dinamic balance if u don’t have that top stage

Eu andei assistindo alguns vídeos da filmadora sony fx6 uma excelente câmera para produzir vídeos de cinema e alendo mais você pode fazer um upgrade colocar muitos assessórios nessa câmera, o problema é onde comprar essa câmera mais barato e seguro pela Internet pois no site no mercado livre é muito caro, e gostaria que você indicasse algum site seguro para eu comprar, já assistir alguns vídeos falando sobre a loja "B&H" que boa, o quê você acha é uma loja segura vale à pena comprar pois a cotação do dólar está muito alta e atendo mais tem o imposto de importação com você sabe no Brasil é a receita mete a mão e mercado livre também.
