you should be all right if you drive motorway most of the time. The idea being, the more often you use the clutch, the more wear is added to the bearing. It is just a bearing, but need to be replaced soon. 3k km motorway it is absolutely fine.

My "friend" the solution iIS NOT adding another device in audio chain BUT fixing a Ground Loop Noise issue on the existing chain. Even the title is saying that the issue is Ground Loop.. I know it is hard to undertand (for an audiphile mind..) and frustratingly simple (for others) ..like you feel that is around the corner.. IF the car jerking from stop in first gear the flywheel is worn out - 100%. That is a Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF) I know because I replaced both myself (clutch kit and flywheel). First the jerking was present for about 1/2 years - car used 50 miles/day.. then throwout start making the noise in the clip. And that was the turning point for changing everything. The original parts lasted 150k miles.

As said, the noise is coming\produced by the worn throwout bearing. If you want you can change only the bearing. When the clutch disc will get thinner you will have to change that as well..

What did you end up doing? And what was the operation success?

No, that it is different in manifestation.. The car is shaking or vibrates when you are about to move from stand still and depress the clutch in 1-st gear.

@@MrFryfish duno then iv got a problem with my car just put a new dmf friction plate pressue plate and slave but in nuatral at idel it squeeels like a slipping belt and when u beat on the car it squeels no clutch slip tho i bought it of techni clutch on ebay tho thought id take the risks and its not looking good

as the title said, the throwout bearing that sits between the fork of the arm that links the gearbox and diapfragm spring ("the sun") of the clutch: auto-hubs.blogspot.com/2015/11/what-is-diaphragm-clutch.html

replaced throwout bearing; comes with the clutch kit; it is worth replacing the whole kit once you get there (even if the clutch itself seems to perform well)!

the only way to fix is to get to it and replace. Be prepared to replace more, because other parts could be worn out..

Deniss Kukjans I replaced everything else possible due to wearing (I had occasionally flywheel (DMF) juddering). Replaced gearbox oil seals: input shaft, output shaft, gear stick; clutch kit and DMF.. Deniss Kukjans Yes, ... used to be jerky on 1-st gear... Was a badly (springs on it) worn out Dual Mass Flywheel. ..Bearing is an on-going situation: starts from being very quite to non-existent (noise) , ending with more and more play within those rollers. The noise in your post IS definitely from that bearing.
