Great info! I have a sort of thick flattish "fork" to put under the back of the foot. It was in the tool kit when I bought my sewing machine 😊 It works just like using many layers of fabric. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Hi Sharyn, I tried your suggestion and it worked for long enough to do my mending job but it keeps breaking. I'm using white but I swapped the spool in case and it's still happening. Any thoughts, please?

Without knowing how to put designs together you are really not getting the most out of your machine. I will be showing in a future video how to get designs onto the USB.

Please remember this is NOT the thing to do on Air Threading machines. It may damage them.

I was struggling with the threads not making loops on my overlocker for hours yesterday and I watched your very very helpful video and voila this morning I did what you suggested with winding the wheel back a couple of stitches and oh my god it worked. Thank you Sharyn, I really was considering throwing my overlocker out the window but thanks to your video I found that the switch had been set to 2 and I have been able to thread my machine correctly and love using it now. Very clear and valuable tutorial. I’ve saved it for easy access if I need to refer to it in future!

Thank you very much! This is the best video that I've found that demonstrates how to use this threader accessory. So helpful to know what needle and machine types it will work with. My new machine's "automatic" needle threader has defeated me, but I now feel confident that I can be successful with this tool. Heading off, now, to purchase one! 😀

I enjoyed this technique of sew as u go . I'm getting too old to sandwich & free motion quilt my Queen size quilts . Q: Design wall ... I noticed the tape is only horizontal , you need to tape vertical as well to cover the zig-zag stitch. What is your solution to avoid a thick cross-over ? 😊😊😊

I am the Suzie who leant Sharyn the Janome 744D she used for this video. Every time I need to rethread my overlocker I always rewatch this video, because no matter how many times I am shown in person I still screw up the lower looper. I literally have my own personal threading tutorial!

Thank you for your video! I have a 550E and it truly is a beautiful stitching embroidering machine. Even the pros at the store couldn't tell the difference between a design stitched on the 550E or a much higher end machine. Still discovering all it can do and looking forward to you showing us more. I have only sewn your designs on my 550E but I think now I might try the inbuilt designs. Can the bobbin fill bobbins be used repeatedly or just the once? Regards, Christine
