@ladyxxdeja Go to your Controller setting and Adjust your Dead zones on your stick. That should help and you can put it back after so your aim doesnt fell off.

If you Follow this same route without dying to many times it should work. The Only hard part is the ladder jump but its not to bad. Also Don't take a risk by trying to rush a jump dying takes longer then the waiting.

Keep at it you'll get it if not i'll walk you thru it!

@clintmccabe6904 I'm honestly Speechless. First Thank you for taking the time to watch the videos and for starting this for yourself. That progress is Huge and its almost addicting to keep pushing yourself right. Centering gets easier in a few days of doing this just try to keep your Cross hairs off the floor and on a door way. Also What I've found so far is Rotation Aim assist is super huge for Long Range shots and up close. The trick is the keep your Left stick moving side to side is a good start. Up close I go back and left and back and right and that seems to make the Aim Assist pull harder. As Far as the Right stick I had a Kontrol Freaks riser I got from Game stop years ago. I barely touch the right stick n long range shots. Its a weird feeling to get used to but I noticed it more messing around in Rebirth Lockdown. Since mostly everything is longer range there but those guys shoot back really well LOL. Dude Again Thank you SO MUCH! This is Unreal!

@@NoShotMerc hey there Merc. I'm on day 5 of the challenge. Yesterday my buddies weren't online so I ran bots all night lol probably killed a thousand of them. I bought a xbox elite series 2 controller and like the back buttons. I use 2 of them only (1 for jump, 1 for slide). Anywho, I'm still mostly in the same boat as my initial post. I believe I'm getting better, but still a significant gap between controller and kbm. I'm kind of a demon on the keys tbh, so i guess i'll have to be patient. I have, however, dropped a nuke every day on controller which is kind of crazy. What I notice is my flicks are way slower on controller. It just takes me way too long to center them and start firing shots. Also longer ranges is REALLY tough to maintain accuracy. How long did it take you before you really felt decent at controller? Was it week 3 like in the video, or did you feel this earlier?

@@clintmccabe6904 Grats on the controller. I should be getting mine in the next two weeks but, It had to be about a little over 2 weeks. I'm still trying to get the tracking down on Long ranges I feel like I barely have touch the stick. At first I was trying to correct to much and I was Breaking my own Aim Assist. Make sure to keep moving the Right stick even it its a little to keep the rotational aim assist kicked in. For me that was the weirdest thing but it explains why I always see controller players going from right to left so much. So Far I've switched almost completely to the controller cuz i feel the going back and forth between the 2 inputs makes me play different if that makes Sense. I'm hyper aggressive on Keyboard and Mouse then More slower and Tactical with the controller. Since My movement is not there yet.

@@NoShotMerc I'm really looking forward to your week 4 video. VERY curious to hear if you're officially better on controller now. Last video said you were 70% sure lol. I told myself I'll stick to 100% controller until august. Basically when the kids go back to school. That'll give me 3 months on controller to make a sound decision. if not, i'll have 3 months back on the keyboard until next cod comes out to re-sharpen my KBM skills! Aim assist is really nice so far in cqb engagements. Longer range and movement is something i'm very much working on. I will practice more and keep you updated. thanks for the feedback.

@R3DST1CK when learning you ahould go with the what the best are using. When he actually gets good, then he can switch. But yea, he can do what he wants. What do the the people with thousands of hours and who get paid to play know.

@patrickcarver3607 I used a Default for a few days and Went to Black ops and it felt way better. But one of my biggest problems is over correcting and breaking my aim assist. Which I end up doing less with Black ops Setting Vs Default.

@clintmccabe6904 Nice! I noticed a lot of close range fights I'll lose on MNK because I miss one or 2 shots. I'm currently debating on switching to controller since I've been shooting 500 bots a day and I'm starting to get the feel for it. Controller is probably The best but when I play MNK I try to keep the Fights no closer then 10 meters if it gets closers It's more of a 50/50 if I get smoked.

@@NoShotMerc Do you think a better controller is worth it? I bought a really cheap one on amazon, but noticed some really good ones on your video. Just curious. Those aim assist buttons on the back of the Aim Controller seems interesting, but not sure what they actually do! Good idea about bots. I might try that tonight as to not wreck my KD lol.

@clintmccabe6904 That is my bad I should have explained it better. The paddles on the back are used to replace the A, B, Y, and X. So you don't have to play Claw. The Aim Assist is always Active when playing with a controller.

@clintmccabe6904 Personally if you have someone to lend you a controller PS5 or Xbox you can get the feel before you go for something more advanced. Some of those controllers cost 150 and up. I'm personally waiting till I see how comfortable I am after shooting 500 Bots a day for the next 30 days. A weird Challenge I'm doing.
