Just watched the Nortent Ly 2 tent setup, now I'm interested. Can't wait until you do a review!

Looks superb! Looking forward to seeing this one for real. Really like the extra middle pole to increase living space stability.

Another great looking tent. Looks like it would have a lot of interior headroom. What diameter poles are you using, and is there room to double pole for high wind conditions?

Do you think this 2-man tent would be big enough for two persons and a German Shepherd dog?

How does the doubling of poles install? Do you need to double up all the poles or just two reds or two blue poles etc. What is the standard tent configuration with single poles capable of withstanding in terms of wind strength? Where do the extra poles fit at the bottom of the tent and as they go over the tent are there additional clipping points on the tent for the additional poles or do you just use alternative clips for the second pole? Also the footprint sheet does that go into the entrance porches to provide a floor at the entrances.

Very interesting tent and setup! Nice to see this type of tent on a bigger size. Also, please check mispelling on “guidelines” and who’s idea was to put nonstopping birds chirping on the video?

Isn't this more or less the original Vern 2 with a more versatile door configuration? Not that there are anything wrong with that, I am happy to see you have not shelved that design completely. :)

A nice addition to the range! I do love a classic tunnel for all round use. Love the door flexibility and I assume on this you sleep across the width, not lengthwise ? What packed weights are they coming in at ? Atb Andrew

I have seen a few reviews of owners being out in high winds and their poles have bend and someone's snapped so i'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get 10mm poles from?

I must say I am a little gutted that I bought the previous version of the Vern 1 (still in its packing unfortunately) before this mega version hit the shops. I would like to see a similar video from Nortent using version 1 to see how it fares in rough conditions

I have to say I'm loving the Vern 1 so far and I've had over 150 tents . Yes I was given it for review but if I think something has a problem, I'll tell people. It's been quite an eye opener to see some of the cynicism being directed at the Vern and Nortent generally. I think it's genuinely rattled some of the wild camping community using other Nordic brands. Don't get me wrong, some of these other well know names are in my top ten tents of all time but I'm somewhat amused by the reaction amongst owners/users. I think it will take some weeks or months of field use for some wild campers to 'trust the brand' and at that point I think we'll see some migration from other brands. After all we are talking about some great models here at half the price of similar spec models in the market. Interesting times and well done Nortent ! Andrew

I never ever get a 1 man tent as way to small im 6'3 so always get 2man tent,like the Tarptent scarp 2man,kelty military tactical tent 2man, hilleberg staika. This tent from Nortent looks awesome so it definitely looks like my next purchase next month,great video and will watch out for Fellman Daves internal review 👍

I would do pretty much anything for a tent like this. Been looking at Hillebergs but haven’t bought because of condensation reviews. This looks like it’s the one!! Absolute quality.

This tent has so much condensation it's almost unusable,

I know you built this for Northern Europe conditions, but I'm not sure if you realize how great of a worldwide sea kayaking tent this is. Ideal for setting up on bare rock, pointing it into the wind and just falling asleep with no worries. It would also appeal to the USA market for windy areas. However, for both sea kayaking and USA (or any lower latitudes) it would be best with a 20D fly (tripled silicone Nylon 66) and a 30 to 40D floor. If you build that, everyone living below 50 degrees North would consider this tent, as the weight starts to line up with the challenges the tent would meet. As it stands now, for what I just described, it's too heavy. You can already see people asking if it could be lighter. Keep it larger that the far too tiny Suolo and just use less robust materials. Honestly, a 30D floor that's protected by a 1.5mil polycryo groundsheet is the absolute sweet spot.

A great pole structure and so many practical features. The double door so great for wild camping and venting great for still nights. Do you had any plans to make a smaller, lighter version? Say 210-220 cm long and an inner max width of 100cm in the middle tapering to 60 cm at the ends? Could this make something around 2000g ?

Did you finally seam seal the tent yourself? That was a big gripe with the previous tents.

I've been gradually adding to my tent collection over the years & had decided to stop buying more. After seeing several RUclips videos, including this one, I couldn't resist getting this tent. Just preordered it with a footprint from Valley & Peak in the UK. Really looking forward to some adventures in it 👍 ⛺️ ⛰️🌲🚶‍♂️

Looks a nice tent, I use Vango tents here in Northern Finland. It would take a lot to make me change brands! I do modify my tents with double poles/stronger poles and other methods. Lately got a new Airbeam model so no broken poles but your tents look very strong.

I never use an one-layer tent. Never. Crazy in the cold. Condensation is terrible.

Hello an good morning. Has the tent being wind tested?? If it has could you make this available please 👍. I live in Pembrokeshire Wales, were are weather is changing.. Eg storm force winds. So on the hills, sometimes hard to get a good tent. Thanks for any feedback.

Very interesting tent. Would love to see more details on their website. For instance, the inner dimensions. And perhaps more detailed photos of the vents, the pegs, the nice guy line toggles. There is plenty that's not shown in detail. I wouldn't be surprised to see this tent A LOT in RUclips video. Especially for (possible) bad weather hikes and winter hikes.
