The crop in 24 fps mode ilia optional. I have older aps-c lenses from another camera I could attach with an adapter and use that feature if needed.

I have not lost any data while using it for photography and / or filmmaking.

I did not have any over hearing issues. I shor a short film using this SSD and it was fine. However I did not do any long recording at once tho.

Just make sure you get the “T7 Shield” there is also just a T7 SSD that is not on the recommended list.

Hello, I downloaded the Rec709 from Panasonic website and just simply added it. If I remember correctly I made a few simple, simple adjustments. Nothing fancy at all. Maybe it just applies better with outdoor shooting in the shade? My white balance was set and I manually exposed without histogram help but I was pretty close so maybe all that helped also.

I shot mostly on the Panasonic 85mm f1.8 and 50mm f1.8. The actual BTS footage was shot on a Fujifilm X-T3 and Viltrox Lenses.

@@tamiloreadeshiyan8885 hey! Yeah I eventually got one and it works. I have a Tamron 28-75 with a 67mm filter thread. The step up rings are also step down rings so I use the 67 to 95 step up ring and on the other side of that same ring it acts as a 95 to 67 so I can use my ND filter even with the matte box on

Well it depends in which format you want to record. You can choose mp4, MOV and ProRes(only the S5IIx, for the S5II you have to pay for the upgrade) With mp4 you can’t really choose much. With Mov you get more choices and with ProRes you’ll get the bigger ones. But you’ll need an external SSD connected via USB-C

It really is a great camera. Can't beat the bang-for-buck on this one!

The Samsung T7 Shield can. I believe it’s on the approved list for Panasonic. The T7 Shield is not the same as the T7.

Hello. The only gear I have on the SmallRig Cage is what came with the cage (including the clamp that holds the Cable to the camera body / cage and the SmallRig Universal Clamp that holds the SSD. To the cage. The clamp that holds the cable to the SSD came with the SmallRig Universal Clamp.

@@shanecolevideography4427 ok thanks! Yeah they told me the only way to get it is to get the cage and handle with it. Was hoping you had another solution. Don’t see why SmallRig can’t sell it separately for s5ii.

ProRes doesn't apply noise reduction in the same way h.264/265 does so it's best to apply NR in post. DaVinci's built in noise reduction handles it nicely.

I'm not exactly sure but I do know LUmix Panasonic released a compatible SSD sheet for the S5IIX you could probably find it on their website or a google search.

My main complaint is that at 6'4", I have to stay stooped over all the time to use it because the handle is so low.

I'm pretty sure on the "X" model of this camera can record to external SSD's since it can record larger files.

Yes the slow motion features are pretty good on this camera!

I do not have any zoom lenses for this camera / matte box set up but I did notice sone photos in a Google search that did. But again I don’t own any zooms for this set up.

You can :) Im using it with the kit lens 20-60. As long as the maximum filter thread size is 85, it should fit.

I have the sigma 100-400mm and tomorrow I will try to mount It with this mattebox. Coincidentally I have this mattebox and the s5iix. But as the above fella said, It should fit fine

On the Panasonic S5IIX I used the Panasonic 85mm f1.8. For the Behind the scenes video I used a Fujifilm X-T3 and Viltrox 56mm f1.4 lens.

@@Paulsonjc It’s a great lens for photography. For the price it’s pretty sharp with snappy autofocus. I haven’t really used it for video yet only for this test but so far so good!

I haven't used it on location or set yet, but I did record a few clips non-stop at 10 minutes each plus some shorter clips in 6K apple pro res and so far no problems. It did get really warm to the touch, but then again I was outside in 85 degree weather but still no problems.

Hello, yes I’ve used it without the bag. At the end of the mow I take the battery out, and then knock out the clumps of grass from the bottom to help clean it out.

It takes me about 15 min to mow my lawn and it lasted longer than that at least. I have a small lawn so it's perfect for that set up.

No problem. Yes after assembly I figured I might as well shoot a video and help people out. Not a bad little mower. It takes me only 15 min to mow my lawn so this little mower is great. It can store it in my basement since it's battery operated and it's small (easy to carry down stairs)

I've only had the camera about a week and have only used the Viltrox Auto Focus for Photography. It's good for that. Haven't tried it for video as I shoot all my video with Manual Focus.
