I was one of the 14,000 people. I was with the people that I cared about most at the time, my friends, who had become my brothers. We all go through life, and we have amazing moments. Like when you meet the love of your life, or the birth of your children, and at those times you are like wow this is the happiest time in my life. But, then I hear this song, and I am immediately transported back to a time when I wasn't quite as grown up as I thought I was. A time where the stress of responsibility and the knowledge that I am not immortal were not even a concept that I would consider. Goosebumps rise, and my heart swells. That time, with those people was also the happiest time in my life. I am blessed beyond measure to have had an amazing life, that I hope doesn't end anytime soon, surrounded by people I love. There is never one happiest time in our lives. Thank you Aaron for being a big part of one of mine.

Jamey Johnson is a true artist - an individual style and presentation, a top of the range writer with a social conscience and a message for everyone. If Jamey came to play down here to Australia, it would be a musical blessing.

This is one of those amazing "lightning in a bottle" type moments. He had the bare bones of a song and didn't finish it until he was under the pressure of performing it in front of a very large crowd. And it all just came together so well. I am sure if he was able to spend more time developing the lyrics, he might have changed a few things, but what he came up with that night feels so perfect that he should not try to change it at all even if he feels it could be better. That is pure magic.
