Yeah this game came down to the bottom 2 on both teams and I really had to try and stagger the two of you bc if I had let both of y'all alive at the same time then my team would've probably lost lol easier to fight one of you at a time than 2 of y'all especially with a PLSL-EML combo haha

Yeah PC public lobbies in general are not that good lmao it's so much easier to point on there. PC is funny bc it's either straight nuggets, cheaters or absolute gods haha a little bit in between but usually the extremes haha

Reduces speed loss from highG turns by 20%, and reduces stall speed by 20%. Losing less speed from highG turns allows you to highG turn more frequently and especially helps when chasing faster targets.

Extend High-G duration which is useful for lining up some EML shots where you just need to look at the enemy for a split second to get the swiping EML hit. The 2 kills I get right after the 2:40 mark on the F-14D and F-22 are some examples. Not the best examples mind you, but to give an idea as to what I'm talking about with "swiping" EML shots.

@@TITANxRaven_Gaming gotta pull the “uhmmm acshually 🤓☝️” here and say it doesn’t let you highG for longer at a time. You always lose the extra pitch rate after the same duration, surprise surprise the game has lied again.

Stats wise they turn pretty much the same. The 33 is slightly faster but it’s very marginal. The 33 is less responsive and some people like the stability, but most importantly the F18 has a base hp of 105, compared to the 33’s 120. This means the f18 dies to upgraded EML in one shot even with bulletproof tank2 whereas the 33 doesnt

Yes, plus it has decently less HP than the Su-33 which means that it can be one-tapped by an enhanced EML even if it has Armor 2 while the Su-33 can tank it and only receive 95% damage. That's a very big flaw for the F/A-18F. There's just really no reason to use it over the Su-33 in EML other than preference, but the Su-33 is objectively the better option all around.

It is possible that the IRL feats might have a little bit of an effect on the usage of sain planes, however I believe it to be coincidence and rather has to do with the balancing of the planes in-game. The Mig-21 is genuinely one of the most broken planes in the game, specifically in MSL-Only lobbies for no reason. so it's no surprise that it would see more usage over the F-104. The F-22, F/A-18E TGM, and Su-57 all perform better and have better weapon selection than the F-35C in AC7. The F-35C was done dirty in my opinion, along with the F-16C. Bc the F-16C has a good reputation IRL, but in AC7 is bad bc it's the "starter" plane. Thus, I think the plane usage and preferences come down to the game's balancing of said planes.

F16 has always been pretty good, though I wonder if in-universe which block# Osea is supposed to be using. When the F2 came out it was a lot better than the F16, though updated F16s are about the same in quality. I do agree though the F16 has kindof been done dirty in AC7. It's a very good and affordable plane that does pretty much everything right. Considering how many versions of the SU-27 we got, I think it would be fine if the game differentiated between block# F16s. Even in the game we got two F104s, granted one is only for free flight mode. Can anyone tell when they are shooting at an Su Sm30 vs a Su Mk30 anyways if they aren't using Mihay's skin? How would you fix the F35 for multiplayer? 4AAM and 8AGM are not helping it out, lol. (But to be fair a lot of planes in the game feel like they only have one viable PVP options) I never tried the SOD before. I mean no disrespect-- I think making it kindof bad for multiplayer, but a long distance stealth-sniper PvE plane works okay for the game. Some craft are better used for the campaign, or at least for ground objectives. (If only we had gotten a mode where one team needs to protect a convoy while another team needs to bomb it.) Honestly, I would never want to use the F35 against competent pilots in a dogfight. I love the Su 34, but I know what it's for-- bombing. It's nice to say it can fight as well as any other flanker, but the few differences honestly make the craft's dogfighter characteristics best for getting out of trouble-- not trying to win any A2A fights unless a clear opportunity arises. It is a ground attack fighter though. Both IRL and in the game. Different craft, different roles. But if you can win with them, flexing feels good, haha.

The F-16 in other ACs have been reasonably better than AC7, AC7 and AC04 are probably the worst iterations of it. How to fix the F-35 comes down to 4AAMs actually getting buffed. Bc back when AC7 came out, the 6AAMs and 8AAMs were just as bad as 4AAMs but PA buffed the homing and ammo count of 6s and 8s, but not 4s. That's why the Gripen E has basically the same amount of 6AAMs as the Su-37 and F-35C has 4AAMs. Make that make sense lol if 4AAMs actually got a homing and ammo buff like the other missiles, then there would be a lot more viable multi lock options to choose from for PvP.

The F-35's main strength IRL its capability to easily network with other units and aircraft and function as a sort of mini AWACs in addition to a multirole stealth fighter. Unfortunately it's hard to depict that in a way that's fun to use in a dogfight-centric game like AC so naturally it's been sidelined in favor of the F-22 which was designed with dogfighting in mind.

Honestly I think if the Rafale and F-15E weren't as good as they are, the F-35 would be able to shine more in MSLs (in SPW its loadouts hold it back). Oooh yeah I can try out that dogfighting YF-23 build! Adding it to the list!

Gun Power 2 is something I use if I don't want to use Reload 2. It really depends on what I'm trying to do. If I want to CQC then guns are the play, but for BnZ situations I really like having Reload 2 haha

Yup, a lot of us just have a lot of time on the game and it took us a bit to figure everything out. Now, there is no shortage of resources to help speed up the growth process but only a handful are able to actually capitalize on that so praise is deserved to those that actually can take advantage of that and learn fast!

Depends on the QAAM user, some of them it's much easier to QAAM/HCAA than PLSL/EML.

Yeah, that's why I only keep effective SPW planes in my loadouts now minus the one slot I use as a MISC slot for anything random I'm doing haha there just aren't a whole lot of disabled lobbies on at any given time tho compared to SPW on PSN sadly

It was good, I really liked the tracks and there were a number of options I really liked but I ended up liking this track the most!

That's very much one of the builds I was thinking of using if I went the LAAM route for sure, only difference is Stealth 2 for maybe Bulletproof 2 but I was gonna mess around with both for sure. If I gotta keep my speed up for this challenge AND not die (another condition of the challenge) then both are viable options lol
