This song is an absolute 10 from me

What a cool way to tell a female that you can't get her off your mind. "You're my sunrise,...you keep coming up". The mellow mood of the melody along with the steady rhythm of the beat is infectious in a good way. This song (minus the whiskey and cigarettes) touches my internal poetic spirit and reminds me of a past encounter. The sad notes hit hard, and have that Isley Brothers feel to it. Great song.

It just occurred to me after listening to so many cool Morgan Wallen songs that he is in a zone when he sings about drinking and relationships. Given the results of his being in the news, we know the drinking part to be true to life. I also get the impression that he has probably gone through some relationship stuff as well. If not, he really knows how to paint some very vivid pictures. 😊 Peace

This is the ultimate "Do you miss me" song. I know I have said this about other Morgan Wallen songs, but I admire the lyrical content and structure of how this is written and sung. The music is on point as well. Another track worthy of being on repeat. Peace

This one has certified Gold. It's being reported this week by some chart people on X that Dangerous: The Double Album is eligible to be certified Diamond. I think that information is in error, and that's because they're basing this on a Billboard data report (10.1M sales and equivalent units). The problem is that for streaming conversion to units the RIAA tabulates 1500 song streams to make 1 unit on albums, whereas Billboard is less stringent, using 1250 song streams to equal one unit. They both use 1 for 1 on digital sales, but if one were to assume 💯 streams (which of course is not right), but assuming it anyway, 10.1M Billboard would equal 8.5M RIAA units. The album is currently only 6X Platinum. Nowadays, due to this very tough streaming standard for albums, it is very, very hard for an album to make Diamond; not like the 70s and 80s and the 90s and the 00s where Garth had 9 Diamond albums; the Beatles 6. Going forward, it will be very rare except for older albums that already had tons of units accumulated before the beginning of the streaming age. I think only Wallen and Swift will get these totally during the time of the streaming age, at least for now; but we'll see.
