Kudos to Charlie, cause he wants to believe and loves fae, but can't turn a blind eye to what he researched. It's always hard to lose something, and losing belief is one of the hardest things. But like Tyler said, Fae can still be a thing without changelings being real.

I've heard that our brains are conditioned as a primal instinctual response to block out all sound except what may be a potential predator. That somehow we sense danger and immediately respond to it even before our rational minds can catch up. Hope that makes sense? So it's not so much everything outside goes quiet but our minds mute everything that wouldn't be considered a threat.

it's common in nature that animals get super quiet and still if a predator is in the area. And what Charlie said makes sense in a supernatural way and would explain the wind too. It's sooo paranormal that even wind is scares😂

I also think that with the silence in forests and stuff you can be so frightened by the entity that you tune out all outside noise to focus in on the thing frightening you. Just another perspective to that little conversation.

I live on the Columbia River (Astoria), near where the ocean and river meet. Sharks have been spotted 1.5 miles up river. Every year we see whales too, and more recently, Orcas. 🐋 . This was a really good episode. If you guys are interested i would suggest watching the first megalodon video from the channel called "Wild World".
