Some people like to start with full units selected, I like to show them why that's a VERY bad idea in a 1v1 on a small map!

Yeah I think the radar view for the whole game gives a better understanding of what's going on than rewinding and showing other parts of the game in a replay etc... 👍👍 It's just very difficult to match the speeds up especially as the replay's tend to start playing in 2x speed after a certain amount of time which is extremely annoying!

I couldn't understand where the hell you were whilst I was playing it then I watched the replay and was like, oh, he tried some crazy shit! haha

It was a really tough game. But these games are much better than winning vs a noob in 5 minutes. I learn a lot from a game like this and a few things I took from this is... 4 War Factory at the beginning is better than 3, just pause Infantry production to keep resources coming. Build more Ore Ref earlier so there isn't that pause in resources. Build Heli early on and don't rely on trying to get it later and most importantly, as soon as I think it's a player like aCheshii then switch production to only V2 and Tesla and just place everywhere! If Green hadn't spammed Barracks and built through me as I was attacking Yellow early on this would most likely have gone very different! That set me back hugely and I needed my Team Mate to engage Green but he didn't have enough as he was slow at the beginning and this allowed Green to engage both of us at once and let his Team Mate (Yellow) get a hold in the game otherwise I would have wiped Yellow out (outside) at the beginning. I think Green knew this so switched his focus to me to help his Team Mate and it was a smart move!

Tough game for sure, whilst I was playing I wondered who Green was because I could see he was a good player. It wasn't until afterwards upon checking the name on kaneda spring site that I seen it was aCheshii.

Yes if it's a good game (like this one) then it's worth posting because it's enjoyable to watch.

It also shows that no matter how good you are, how fast you are or how many Tanks you build, sometimes it just doesn't go your way! I think if I'd had a slightly better Team Mate we could have held outside but no hate for Ortak, he's a cool guy.

I've been playing a lot more regular maps lately and have a lot recorded I just haven't had time to edit and upload them. The mega maps I can upload easily because there is no commentary but the regular maps requiring commentary take a LOT longer to edit. So don't worry, there are some regular map uploads coming very soon. 👍👍

hehe I was expecting a LOT more attack than they did to be honest. I couldn't believe how open their base was at the bottom. I think if I went all in I could have probably ended it sooner but that's always risky!

It appears so! But if you look closely you'll see the money symbol as I'm ready to sell it. As I sell it I get no Infantry back from it because the Infantry limit has been reached so it looks like it just disappears. 👍

Green was using Mad Tanks (which can be very effective actually) so that is the sound they make as they deploy. It sounds a little strange as I've used speed ramping to try and make the video better to watch and it speeds up the sound effects also. The actual game played a LOT slower than you're watching. 👍👍 p.s. Look at the health of the Red Tanks to the left before and after the Mad Tank deploys, that's how effective they are. Two Mad Tanks can take out a whole group of buildings in seconds! You'll also notice the little green dot in the middle of the radar disappear as the Mad Tank explodes. I used some recently in one of my videos the map was Hills Have Eyes. Edit: I'm not actually sure if I've posted that video yet I've got LOTS to get through lol

@@CraigNiel lol yeah that was my bad.We had all just played arena valley and I like to start that map with just 5k as it makes the game longer and is harder to light tank rush someone.I simply forgot to turn it back to 10 k. If you see a game being hosted by `reaps` or `spaer` then that would be me. Though I only usually host areana valley and twin waters. Twin waters in my opinion is the best map for 8 player games.

@@fmigmc-reaper8835 Agreed, I much prefer Twin Waters over any other map for 4vs4. 👍👍 If it's a 10k start then usually you can build and extra 3 Harv's and 3 War Factory right away and just attack with Tanks pretty quick. I'm wanting to do some experiments with Soviet using Tesla and Walls to defend against light tank to see if it works, we'll see how it goes!

It's strange to see the game you played in from the other perspective isn't it? I find that you always think the other players are doing so much better than you are, they seem faster or to have more funds or power etc... but then you see they have the exact same problems you do! A lot of these games are just who builds light tanks quicker and attacks first.

@@CraigNiel I remember those games as I remembered you saying to Zack `oi you sneaky so and so` lol. And yes I play alot of team matches with these guys and most are finished within the first 5-10 mins as most rush with light tanks. The best games though are the ones that last for 20 odd mins and you get proper battles.I'm in a team match group with most of these guys so I'll post the link there so they can see the games.

@@fmigmc-reaper8835 Yeah the longer games are much more fun, you are 100% right. I also love doing sneaky stuff like Engineers or Tanya in a Transport Ship or APC etc that the longer games allow... It's just rarely I get to try it as the other players just steam in with Light Tanks. I changed it up the last few days and tried a few games with Soviets (one was on Twin Waters) just to see if I could get a multi-MCV going and I was just wiped out with Light Tanks.... lol I can't think of a defence that can stop Light Tank rush. The only thing that can stop them is Tesla and you can't build enough Tesla in the time it takes them to amass 5-10 Light Tanks. I even thought of binding a hotkey to build a Wall and surrounding the Tesla with Wall to try and protect it but there's just not enough time. I'm constantly thinking up shit that I can try in this game just to change it up. In the mega maps I was the first to realise that power, power, barracks was a bad idea and that power, barracks, power was the best way as it gets men out quicker now lots do that build order. I obviously didn't "invent" that order but it was being used on the quick matches and regular maps so I thought well why can't I use it on the mega maps and it works a treat! I was also one of the few to start building counting so as not to waste time. By that I mean I memorise how many buildings for the speed of the unit production, Heli for instance, 10 is the optimal so do not ever build more than 10 unless you go to 15 as there's no speed increase so you're wasting time and power etc... that kind of thing. Ok I'm getting too nerdy about it now I can go on for days about this shit! lol

@@CraigNiel It's nearly impossible to stop the light tank rush. I've been told shift `a` to select all units,then `g` plus `q` move is a good way put you still have to have the units to start with to defend.If they catch you early and you have gone for to many ore trucks at the start then you are just dead.I think Zack had done a video on it a while back.Might be worth looking on his channel to see what he says about it.

You can play the game offline in campaign mode or online against other people like I do in this video. You can purchase the game through such things as Steam or EA. If you like the game then it's the best £17.99 you'll ever spend. I bought it twice as I have it through both Steam and the EA app. I did this recently as I was having issues getting online and thought it may be Steam so bought it through EA too as a backup.

I've been playing a lot more regular maps lately. I have to admit my heart lies with the mega maps I just love playing them but I'm getting a lot better at the regular maps. 👍👍

After watching the replay I realised I cocked up the Q move attack on that last Power Plant and they just "moved" instead of attacking and moving. Best thing is, I didn't need to Q move them as they weren't under attack but I'm just that used to Q moving whenever I attack that it's automatic now and I do it without thinking. However, not attacking Zack's base was just a clear and massive error and if I was watching anyone else do this I'd be the first to say, "What the hell are you doing you idiot!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yeah the moment he even looks like not winning he just abandons the game and that leaves his Team Mates right in it! I've played lots of games where we are losing at first but come back for the win. Even eagle9 is calling him out on it in this game and that's saying something! 🤣🤣

THE X is known for quitting early. It's silly because it can be difficult to keep the base crawl going and often they can get you out so stupid to just up and quit. The game I played before this was a lot more balanced, I didn't go for the super fast attack and made more of a game of it. All 3 of us were fighting outside locked in battle and we started getting the upper hand and pushing them back, a really enjoyable game. Then our Team Mate just up and disappears like a fart in the wind! My remaining Team Mate fought for some time with me which I respect but eventually gave up as the writing was on the wall. I fought on and it took them some time to get into my base 1vs3 and I even repelled one of their attempts whilst it was 1vs3! But another got in and the game crashed. It would have been a good game to post had my Team Mate not quit as there was a lot of tactics involved in placing V2 etc.... and trying to gain ground which we were doing really well. I think I've deleted the recording now.

I just watched this again as I hadn't seen it since I posted, totally frustrating! 🤣🤣 I've only played this map maybe 5 times, lots of players like the idiot green only play this map over and over. They use the same tactic every time, it's boring!
