We talked with public health experts and 3 of the co-founders of CaliCollegeCare*. In today's interview, they helped explain Senate Bill 306, a new California law that requires private insurance to cover at-home testing for STDs. California is the first in the nation to pass a law like this. Hear their team discuss the importance and impact of the bill in regard to STD prevention.

A song called "Jump Jim Crow" performed by Thomas Darthmouth "Daddy" Rice Done for a project dealing with how the Jim Crow laws started. This clip was found in "The Rise and Fall of Jim Crow: ep 1" by PBS. I edited and uploaded this small section in order to use as part of GoogleSlides and talk to my class about the how this may have lead to a bigger seperation between blacks and whites. *Again...

comedy up comedy Aaron Munson if you read the description you would know this was a part of a project I did a few years ago. I no way agree with his performance, Jim Crow, or the whole era of racism. I am also not white, so please don’t assume I am. Again, this was uploaded as part of a project for my English class where I was assigned to talk about Jim Crow and how the laws started. This video I had found as part of a bigger documentary, but only needed a small part of it, which is why I edited and uploaded it in order to use correctly in google slides.

The origins of Jim Crow, The Birth of a Nation etc. reflect the psychosis of an inferiority complex with a resulting unbalanced need for power. These forms of entertainment was also a good distraction from focus on the poverty and misery experienced by the white underclass.
It seems to transition into a superiority complex, actually. White folk in particular weren’t at the top themselves and yet they still looked down on those as inferior.
