ok .. I primarily use wash n go's at the moment for my tight springcurl hair (looking like a dense fro since it doesn't have great lengths yet to really stay hanging low)thinking this was the safest way to keep away from tight tension hair styles. So how are we to wear our crowns if the way you've styled your coif in this video is something you don't do often? Any recommendations are absolutely appreciated
@@yvonnemurphy7506 I wear a wash n go all the time but since I have length I can be versatile because since I have length some times my hair need a break from the weather because the sun can rob the moisture. When my hair was short I loved I think I didn’t appreciate it enough. I feel like it was easier for me to moisturize and style it with hair accessories like hair combs, hair clips, hair bands, flowers and Bobby pins. I think you are doing fine staying away from tension.

Hi, My scalp has been burning for a few years. I don't know what's causing it but my Derm has prescribed a Shampoo and ointment. It doesn't help for more than a few days then I have to repeat. No hair loss/thinning it just seems to grow slower. Please how do I stop my scalp from burning? Idk if I'm missing any nutrients or what is causing this. But I know that I'm premenopausal. Thank you.
@@sweetpfitkerr7875 did the Derm check for inflammation? Any diagnosis. It could be many things the culprit such as beauty products like shampoos, plant-based products or fragrances, preservatives or chronic stress. To get to the root of the problem a consultation is needed to ask all the questions and seek a solution. Just too much to write. Sounds to inflammatory. Holistic treatment help if the prescription isn’t working. If interested in a consultation visit my website. Thanks for commenting.
LCO, what is the liquid in this? Water?

The unspoken cause of alopecia in black women coukd be auto immune disorders. I had severe burnand itching in the center of my head.had been diagnosed with traction alopecia. Even though i didn't put tension on the crown of my hair at all. Then I started having a problem with my small finger and was actually dx with Sjogen syndrome. Which is an autoimmune disease in the same category of rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. It can can cause hair lost. First step is to get bloodwork to check for any underlying issues. If you have a abnormal ANA then its best to see a rheumatoid arthritis provider because the issue may be more serious than hair loss. The burning sore scalp is inflammation and should be addressed by a doctor.

The world calls it Alopecia 🤦 My God's bible calls baldness a curse for disobeying him 💌
Thanks for your comment. I am very familiar with Isaiah 3:17 But I am also careful to not assume some suffering is because they are disobedient/curse. In Job 4 his friends assumed such. I keep in mind Isaiah 55:8-9 God's ways and thoughts are higher than mine. I appreciate your post because I love the word of God. And Each person must examine themselves seeking God if there be any offense Ps 139:23-24. God bless you continuously.
The god that put the curse is yahweh also know as Enlil. Mother Sophia (also known as the Great Spirit ) gave me my crown back. ❤️

Hello, I enjoyed your video! Any suggestions for menopausal hair thinning ❤
Hi Kimberly, thanks for watching. I do have a video Conquer Menopause Hair Loss. I was experiencing thinning hair from menopause too. If you haven't I suggest get a physical and blood work to make sure there are no deficiencies or underline medical conditions. full balanced meals is everything and supplements (vitamins & minerals) with a DHT blockers. Hair care is very important shampooing weekly with a thinning shampoo and I also use Olaplex #4 (strengthening) and I deep condition every wash, keep hair moisturize as needed and opt for low maintainance styles. In my description I have a link to my website the supplements and topicals I use that has help me and my patients. I have more information on IG. instagram.com/xplicithairstudio/ addressing menopausal hair loss (thinning). If you need more assistance I offer hair consultations that include a treatment plan. All my information is in the description box. Stay calm stress isn't good. Please let me know if this helps. Take care

Thank you so much for the breakdown. I'm happy to know I'm using the right oils. I also like argon oil. Hopefully there is a benefit to that as well.
You are welcome. Argan oil is really good to I use that one from time to time as well.
Thank you for doing this topic . There has been so much going back and forth on the oils on your hair as you stated at the beginning of your presentation, now that I know there can be a benefit using the correct oils , it`s time to try it out. 😊
you're welcome! I was pleasantly surprised about some of the benefits and wanted to give some clarity and gain some for myself.
Please don't use essential oils undiluted (neat)... you could cause burns to your skin. If using e.o.'s add them to a carrier oil like coconut, olive, jojoba, or castor and not more than 2%
You are right, I tried to keep the video short I didn't go into how to use the oils that will be in the next video. Thanks
Thanks for great advice. I had issues with hair then shortly after psoriasis. It was devastating. Consultation w a dermatologist and a trichologist. I found out i did have medical issues and my hormones were thur the roof. With care and treatment. My hair is doing well. My psoriasis is gone ( hoping to stay in remission.) My hair is now relaxed low manipulation. The only thing for me is a lot products natural or otherwise i am allergic to Aloe vera, vit.E, and quite a few others. People tend to forget about allergies. So important to know if a reaction is topical or systematic.
Thank you for sharing as well I’m glad that you were able to able to resolve your hair and scalp concerns. Many people are allergic to plant based products and essential oils. Hormones unbalanced cause several issues that’s why it’s important to get annual checkups and blood work to rule out any underlying issues. Stay tune for more videos and freebies coming soon.
Hello, wanted to ask if you could do a video on how to tell when your hair needs moisture or protein? Also what signs to look for. Thank you
Yes
Thank you!
You are welcome
Thank you. I am waiting for your Hair Academy to open. It would be a blessing to have cosmetologists attend your college.
Thank you for always being supportive to the things I do I appreciate you more than you know.
Two-strand twists are so much better for my natural hair, personally. I love braids but after wearing them back-to-back last summer, my hair became so thin and weak. A trip to the dermatologist revealed that I had alopecia. I'm not saying the braids caused it, but they certainly did not help. The doctor advised me to not wear braids and to never use synthetic braiding hair because not only are the chemicals in that hair toxic, but she said some of that hair contains fiberglass! She put me on a regiment of prescribed hair oil drops and Nutrafol which did stop the hair loss, however, some spots are permanent. If you see any bald spots, go see a dermatologist before it's too late!
Love the two strand twist. I’m glad you were able to restore your hair. As a Trichologist I help women like yourself restore their hair. Therefore I am very cautious in choosing non-toxic products in my salon and clinic. And your right the synthetic hair are not created equal. Best wishes to your continued healthy hair journey
I can't wear any braids at all no matter how loose. My daughter braided my hair to try a simply crochet to cover my thinning, and my scalp hurt so bad then I started feeling bumps and scabs. Took out. I just can't do them anymore. loose flat twists.
Oh wow, did you get your thinning restored?
I see your white coat. Are trichologists on the same level as a doctor? Do you work under the supervision of a dermatologist? Can you bill health insurance for your services?
We’re Not on the level of medical Physician. But we are in the science of hair. Using Trichoscope to look at the health follicles and scalp disorders. We are considered Para-medical because we can identify various of alopecia’s and scalp disorders but can not diagnose people I sent them to a physical and they confirm after I’ve done the leg work. I holistically address issues also using my 30 years of experience of caring for hair and scalp. But if serious underlying conditions are present the physician is involved for prescriptions. I work closely with dermatologist, read blood work and to help slow down the progression of hairloss, help retain existing hair. As well as help with scalp disorders. It’s a great field the next level bridging cosmetologist to trichologist to dermatologist. I love reading medical journals and studying the science of why. Hope this helps
