In this video we are testing a customers valve. The customer claims to be experiencing boost loss and a big lack of power. We tested the valve as we received it from the customer and on the same model test car at our facility. It can be seen that the valve is working correctly and no boost loss is found despite the leak of the flange.

    Im reading the comments and im seeing the timeline when people are posting asking for a part 3, it went from 3 years ago to 2 years ago to a year ago to MONTHS AGO.....why can't we get a part 3 yet GFB!

    Awesome video, i have a serious question, my has custom tuned using stock computer on my s3 8L with a slight bigger turbo then the stock- 4mm /2mm wider exhaust/intake , would your boost controller work with my current settings. Say, I install your boost controller and then do the peak settings -say 28psi. and follow the rest on your video. My question is would my computer adjust its air/fuel aromatically form 22 psi(old settings) to 28 psi. Many Thanks

    So when doing a boost pressure test you leave all lines plumbed and pump a small amount of air into the system to pressurize it?

    Can we get a part 3 th at goes over gain, sensitivity, and scramble setup... Please, just got one of these to control a Garrett gtx3076r on a stock motor... lmao yeah I know to much turbo for a stock motor but i have faith in this GFB controller, just need to see how to work the damn thing. 😁

    Is this mkv gti stock or does it already have a stage 1 tune that would run 17 psi anyways? Asking because I'm lookin too install one in place of a ECU tune too get roughly 17 psi on my mkv gti with a stock ECU... I have an intake and upgraded DV valve and a PCV block of plate... let me know thanks!

    What a load of BS about covering up compressor surge, comp surge upon lifting off the throttle happens when having the BOV is installed far away from the turbo and or a tightly wound BOV spring, the surge flutter is fine, it does not damage the turbo at mild amounts of flutter, this BOV chatter gate or whatever this thing is seems to be the opposite, a lightly sprung valve that vents it before pushing back on the compressor. Why on earth people give a shit about this noise is beyond me, performance cars are for performance, not gay show pony ego boosting noise machines, the car scene is horrible these days, totally ruined by movies like the Fast and the Furious, rant over.

      Simons World But let fools be fools. They learn, as we all do, by mistakes being made, thereby getting experience and knowledge of what they actually talk about. I personally saw through the joke even though I didn't look at the date of upload, and the joke was pretty clever and funny I must say. People still believe in Jesus and Santa Claus, an if they believe this also without crosschecking or doing at least a bit of research (which noone seems to do these days), let them believe it. It's only a joke 👍

      @@gofastbits1066 can this be used on diesel engines if we are removing the VNT turbo for a Gated spring turbo ? also can there be different boost settings at different RPM ?

      @@jmoore9806 We have a boost controller called the "D-Force" which is specifically designed for diesel engines. It is not suited for a VNT turbo, so if you're removing the VNT turbo to replace it with a conventional turbo, this could be a good method to control it. There is no RPM input on the boost controller so it's not possible to do RPM based boost pressure, but you do have the 6 pre-sets to choose from in the menu
