Dude. The rage sound in the game is kinda underwhelming,ngl. Larian did every, single thing right.....except the rage. My opinion, not sure if anyone agrees.

Man i know the powers scaling isnt even in either game, but certainly not helping those problems is my love of bewildering grace farming, as well as entering high level dungeons to see if i can get high level loot, before i get ripped in half(especially now that there are no locked chests)(i think its an improvement, i figure most people would think therion's (and therefore throne's roles would be diminished over it, but i think its the opposite, i feel like needing to have therion with you to open those chests made it feel positively oppressive trying to take him out of the party, even for other characters youd really enjoy, or tressa whos supposed to share his role)

I got a bewildering grace farm up, assuming id have to farm around as much as the last game, only to find out this one had much more content and so now everything's been overleveled since i completed everyone's chapter 1, it did have some benefits, like being able to steal/entreat everything but the most rare, out of my level goods being able to go any new place on the map and get 3/4 of the higher level dungeon areas that many of them offer, meaning i still have a layer of stuff to do once the chapters are completed.

Yeah, it got even better, and yet worse in this game)(for some reason, all day everyday ill pay an exorbitant amount of money to watch some dudes wail on a cave worm, especially if said cave worm keeps killing my un-paid friends, but I'll be got-damned if im gunna spare a single leaf to dubuff somebody(yeah its nice that even an individual move(hired help) has 2 levels that are buffs/debuffs(3 if you count mercenaries, which do microscopic damage but are decent for sword breaking and give a buff as well) but it sucks that theyre the earlier, cheaper 2 levels, when having damaging attacks in those level/money ranges would have been way better, because now hired help feels like the "fine *scrambles mini fortune out of my pockets* fuck it, im done, kill this asshole" button

They made this game easier than the first one. Which is nice because before Lv 35 I had two advanced jobs maxed and third on it's way. Just beat Hikari's story at 39. The easy solution for both Octopath games is to just throw money at your problems.
