Introduction: Why Did Jesus Come to This Earth?
Today’s passage shows us why Jesus came to this earth.
The primary reason Jesus came was to call and save sinners.
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” (Luke 19:10)
“Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners-of whom I am the worst.” (1 Timothy 1:15)
People may think Jesus came for the righteous, but He came for sinners. He called them, communed with them, and revealed God’s love to them.
