It’s been five years since families were first welcomed into our Laklinyeri Beach House - a medically-equipped, purpose-built holiday home that was the first of its kind in South Australia.
Going on a holiday is not an easy undertaking for families whose children are in palliative care or who have complex medical needs.
However, their wish to holiday as a family and create treasured memories in the limited years they have together is why our Laklinyeri Beach House was built.
Each week-long family stay costs around $3,000 and is fully funded by the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation, thanks to our community of generous supporters.
