Why is it that one message is sent to Nigerians at home and the diaspora by the minister for interior/his representatives for example the launch of the NIS Mobile App in Canada on the 1st of November 2024, and that of the UK, US etc on the 15th November 2024. We as a community leader in the diaspora have download this App on my Android and tried to use but the biometric section is useless at the moment, why launch an App when it not ready or still undergoing testing, why do the Nigerian government or department use a live programme to run a test rather than using a dummy.The biometric section is coming up a failed error messages for example. Please we as a community leader in the diaspora will advise the Nigeria immigration service Abuja or the Nigeria High Commission London to shut down this NIS mobile App until it is perfected, because you are sending one message to Nigerians at home or in the diaspora that renewal applicants can now apply for their Nigerian passport at the comfort of their homes using this NIS Mobile App, and no more travelling, but in reality it's the opposite. In addition also Nigerian Immigration service Abuja or the Nigeria High Commission London/any other diaspora should try and communicated better with Nigerian Communities in the UK,US etc, as we as communities are the first point of contacts to Nigerians within our area/community in the UK/US etc, improve collaboration and relationship for a the betterment and smooth support for Nigerians in the diaspora. This App at the moment works on Android and not Apple yet. You can download the App but the biometric part only for renewal only is still not perfected, so if you downloaded 20 times and it doesn't work, please why don't you send your complaint to the Nigeria immigration service in Abuja or anywhere you live in the diaspora, yes anything in Nigeria is a challenge but with time it will get perfected, every country has their own variety of challenges and we will get their, we are all Nigerian and we do acknowledge that there are bigger.challenges but coming together we can.all get better working with.the Nigerian government, am.no supporter of any party.but a community leader,.please.send your complaint to Nigeria immigration service Abuja,and probably it will be looked at, appreciate your feedback, and alot have benefited from the utube video advise, you can either use or not use that is your choice,God bless
