This was meant to be a trip to matlock, but due to some damaged bridge our trains got cancelled so we just went for a local one. From Groby to Bradgate Park, Swiftland Woods. Camped in the woods under Beacon Hill. Next morning up to Beacon Hill, then Buck Hill and the Outwoods.

I start my hike from Whitwick and go to Grace Dieu Woods to visit the Grace Dieu Priory. Then i head towards Cademan Wood and climb High Cademan hill that barely rises above the canopy. Then i go to Mount St Bernard Abbey to grab some water and head to Charnwood Lodge and up on Timberwood Hill where i spend the night in a bivvy bag. Next day i wake up to admire the sunrise and go towards Copt O...

Leicestershire Round from Belton-in-rutland to Foxton (almost)
Просмотров 1012 года назад
Bus number 747 brought me Belton-in-rutland. straight away i got my boots filled with grass seeds due to an overgrown path, luckily i had spare socks. Hilly area this part of the leicestershire round with nice views. After just over 20 km i was close to foxton but the path crossing the field was missing, i later learned that i'd needed to follow tractor tracks to get to the other side. The bus ...

Wspaniałe kino. Najlepsze.
You've had some good adventures. I like the silent approach & humour. It appears you are local to me, I have done these parts too. 👍😉
Camp there last night, after seeing your video and inspired us to go up there, not at the summit though, as too many people for fireworks night, but in the woods just down from the top. Great spot 👍🏼
This feels like a tribute to Apetor?
yes!
@@metalhikerniki Keep up the good work regards from Scotland.
😂 looked like fun that lads 🔥🍻
Thx for sharing. This place is close to my home. I also like to hike there. Well done!

Great hike man, this looks amazing!
You're an enjoyable, lovable coconut LOL
Drinker in the woods. Stay clear.
You sound out of shape mate. Nice grub and views.
i was in a hurry for the sunset, also round is a shape
Haha my dude, I did a very similar route. I live just next to Grace Dieu Woods, and feel very lucky to have done so. A lot of my content is from this area, and just love exploring all I can
Top bloke, nice video!
first
I just watched the full 17:35 after coming across your channel as i was browsing. it was a good video, but it lacked the most important aspect, interact with your audience. explain where you are and why you are there. Share your experience and how long you have been there. how many hours where you hiking for? what was the name of the body of the lakes you swam in? what was the name of the cave you were in? if at all any of them had names.? I loved watching my homeland that i left over 10 years ago. i really enjoyed the video, but it needs some talking form you to make it enjoyable for the audience that you want to engage with. As i said, Ireland is my homeland, i love the fact you are doing what you are doing and will check out what other content you have for sure,😀 much respect. i hope you enjoyed Ireland if it was a holiday...
hi, thanks, lots of the places i hike to are obscure or unnamed so is the nature of the things i like to do, so no there wont be commentary or excesive talking, theres plenty of channels that do that. these are are recordings of my trips as i've experienced them so silence and solitude and just the sounds of nature is what i want to capture, cheers
How long does the walk take? And where in Loughborough does it end
i think it was about 9 or 10 hours, and i've walked off the canal just next to the train station. almost exactly 30 km
Nice video! What are you drinking niki? 🤟
soplica, mirabelle plum flavour and krupnik cherry flavour. they're both around 30%, strong and you don't need a chaser, good % to weight ratio, perfect for hiking.
Beautiful walk. I love the swaying poplars at 8:03.
climbed it today. Beautiful.
Nice one!!! 🍺

The Force is strong with this one! Saves on carrying a fire starter. 🔥 Though I did think you might 💩 yourself in the process. 😁
You are crushing the camp cooking! Cool vid! Will be following.
