Bravo on regrading and removing the hill.

I know it's not exactly ideal for construction, but I really appreciate the conservation efforts to preserve the Bicknell's Thrush population, and it's great seeing Sugarbush observe their protection as a species.

I began skiing at Sugarbush the year the mountain opened in 1958. I had the pleasure of taking lessons from Stein Erikson when he was at Sugarbush in 1964 and 1965. Sadly, my mom then convinced my dad that we should ski in Europe in the future, and I never got to go back to Sugarbush or ski with Stein again. He was the absolute best and a lovely human being. I'm now 73, and I am hoping to ski Sugarbush one more time before I die. Returning to Sugarbush is still my dream.

Terry Barbour I can't believe I finally found an instructional video from the New England States. Ive been in the backseat for over 40 years. I once took a private lesson about 30 years ago and wasted my money on a private lesson. I wanted to learn how to control my speed in the steeper blue/black trails. the only thing he told me was to throw my hands down the mountain. I have been afraid to take another because lesson aren't cheap. since the season looks it's over now. At least I have a place to look at for the future. Are you still teaching @ Sugarbush

Great Video...Worked on the golf course summer of 2002 (I think haha) and taught skiing for 2001-2003. I actually helped build one of the bunkers on the Par 3 11th 🙂 Working there is responsible for my current golf addiction. Never really played before I worked there....3 handicap now. Fond memories of Sugarbush and the Mad River Valley.

Great video, brings back so many memories. I worked on the maintenance/ground crew summer of 2002. I actually helped build the 1 bunker at the front of #11 that summer. That was the first summer I ever played golf, learned how to golf on that course.....21 years later I'm a single digit handicap and hooked haha. Live in Colorado now, but one day would love to come back and play it again now that I actually know what I'm doing. #6 was always the hardest hold on the course for me. Thanks for making the video!
