Great gameplay !
Thank you 👍
The playlist is backwards 😢
You can sort the playlist in either direction however if this is not the issue please provide more detail.
@@EVEOnlinewithCaptainRamius I can't do that on my TV, unfortunately. (or my phone, apparently?) You aren't the only creator having this issue, something in the workflow has changed I suspect.
I see the reverse chronological order when I view this playlist using my phone. I am not sure how I can tailor this part of the experience for every viewer.
@@EVEOnlinewithCaptainRamius I believe you just change own sorting with the playlist open. That's probably why this happens - it's not obvious that's editing *the playlist* and isn't just your view of it.
What settings are you using to get rid of the horrible anti-aliasing tearing?
GeForce RTX 4070 TI, 2560x1080, Borderless, VSync Off, Frame Rate Limit off, Texture Quality High, Anisotropic x16, SMAA, Normal Upscaling, Supersampling x1.0, Blur off and all others not mentioned are ultra or high.
The sorting of data, from a data science perspective, is not an artifact of how the data is stored when modern data storage architectures are used such as is the case with Google's infrastructure for RUclips. Also there are no options available for the maintenance of a Playlist to affect how the data is viewed by a user. As for how I might know any of this? Good question. I was secretly a software engineer for only about five decades and one does not code into the data for any serious database the sorting order because doing so would be very inefficient because the data will have a different sorting order for every viewer for every user of the data. For this reason, the sorting order is determined by the viewer or the user via the user's application. I hope this makes sense.
Gameplay of the decade 🤮
hi I have 10 notoriety and I did the mission like you but when I go to return it in the mission table it bugs I don't understand
I would need more information before being able to say anything useful about this. I generally carry a 10+ notoriety but then I also pay off all my fees and bounties as fast as I can.
my question is, what's the purpose of such settlements, it's liveless moon.
Use of a lifeless body would also mean not having to do any environmental studies and this might reduce the governmental red-tape and the costs.
building settlements in the center of crater makes mores sense I guess, you'll get less radiation, lower risk of hit by a meteorite.
Might want to check on the materials found in the inside of the crater to make sure none of those reflect radiation or line the crater with radiation absorbing materials.
No commentary? pointless we can not learn anything !!!!
Watch how it is done. Everyone can setup their ships differently. Everyone can remap their keyboards to any keystrokes they wish. There are no correct ways to do anything other than give more damage than you take. Additionally, I think commentaries are pointless unless you wish to be led astray. I do not need to hear myself speak.
@@EVEOnlinewithCaptainRamius No commentary that's why you've only got 2 likes, we can not learn this way !!!!
One size does not fit all for a complex game like Eve Online. The commentary would have said just one thing, "take less damage than you dish out" however this should be known by all who dare to play this game. The real purpose of the video was to show what you can expect, at a macro level, rather than this is what you do to complete this mission when the thing you will do will be different for all who play other than the very well known, "take less damage than you dish out".
what is the voice of the COVAS ?
Corina or Jefferson are my choices.
@@EVEOnlinewithCaptainRamius ok thx, i guess it was Corina then
Did it sound like Counselor Troi from Star Trek Next Generation?
@@EVEOnlinewithCaptainRamius hahaha exactly!
Hello what is the mod you are using for voice assistant or companion computer? Could tell me where I can buy it and install it?
Not a mod. It is an external program called "ED Copilot" and it runs in the background as I play with its UI sitting on my 2nd monitor as I play. ED Copilot has numerous features however it monitors the game's log file(s) as I play. I find it very useful and hopefully you will also. Enjoy.
ähm sound? Its crazy distorted
I am not hearing any audio issues.
Hey, what are your PC specs?
My PC Specs: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1920x and RTX 4070 ti.
@EVEOnlinewithCaptainRamius quite beefy. Thanks
Thanks. It gets the job done, most of the time, in the 60 FPS range.
How do you get the voices talking about the planet or did you put that in during editing?
search for EDCoPilot by razzafrag
ED Copilot. ED Copilot can do a ton of automation and for me it runs on my 2nd monitor as I play the game. It monitors the log files and does its thing accordingly. It is exactly like having a dedicated Copilot. Have fun with it.
@@EVEOnlinewithCaptainRamiushey great video is ed co pilot free?
Yes, ED Copilot is free however they may ask for optional donations.
good show
you lost me at 3 minutes sitting in crouch next to a machine with no explanation
Nobody likes to have to wait in-game for things to happen but such is life, sometimes.
I had one of these missions and there was a code-locked crate that I couldn't open. I guess I needed an e-breach? But the mission doesn't tell you that. Really annoying.
E-breach can be useful but a bit pricey depending on the contents of the thing being opened.
how did you get your VOICE thingy to say what condition, temp, gravity ect the planet is?
ED Copilot has numerous options.
Whenever I try them the targets usually hide behind a L3 security…finding him outside must have felt like a bonus..at least you got away in one piece 😅
Perhaps I should have disabled the Settlement Alarms before going for the target. On the other hand, this was not a covert mission so alarms didn't matter. Thanks for your comments.
What was that voice giving you the planet description?
The voice, not from the game, is called ED Copilot. ED Copilot monitors your game's log file and does voice reports as you play. Available only for the PC version of the game. I run ED Copilot on my 2nd monitor.
@@EVEOnlinewithCaptainRamius awesome thanks
ED Copilot is well worth using. Makes me feel like I have a real copilot in-game. You don't need to have two monitors but it does make the experience better.
Nice ai script
you gotta use that heat man
What defenses does the Mastodon have, I cannot see anything in detail because there is so much on the screen in this short but I would love to know what to put on my ship
Rather than show you a build because my build will depend upon my skills and your builds will depend upon your own skills; I prefer to respond by giving you some things to consider. Look at your skills and determine how to first mod your ship for survivability. Shield or armor tank? Speed tank? What is your survivability? Then consider sustainability. How can you keep your shields or armor tank sustained? Generally this requires energy. Then consider damage per second. You can mod your ship to deal less damage but have better sustainability and still win the fight. Then learn how to control your relative angle of attack between your ship and the target; generally this is all about your transversal and the higher the better. Hopefully some of this may help your builds.
@@EVEOnlinewithCaptainRamius I really appreciate this. I have been playing since 2016 in primarily have been doing high-sec mining because I only had a laptop and I just recently got a gaming PC and have been able to get into the real meat of the game.
You will get there. Take your time and set your goals for yourself. I would prioritize defensive skills over offensive and some of those very important skills can seem to take some time to raise them to max but they are all worth the wait. I too have spent most of my time in high sec but even there you will not find a ton of safety unless you are vigilant. Keep having fun.
They’re mostly really simple now fdev have put the npc outside, they used to be hidden behind security doors, it made what should have been simple into a risky mission..I like doing easy missions in anarchy settlements atm ..
Throttle down, submit, pitch 180 and boost past the attacker then high-wake. Never fight an interdiction. That was probably a low ranked NPC. Interdictions are heavily weighed in favor towards the attacker and you will 99% of the time never win unless you are in a more agile craft or the enemy is incompetent. Fighting and losing the interdiction results in a much longer FSD cooldown that would otherwise be 5 seconds long if you submit. If you think the mini-game is fun, wait till you're constantly getting pulled 50LS away from your destination right as you're literally within 10MM of your destination and about to drop out of SC. It's honestly a really dumb mechanic imo and should just drop you right there with no mini-game. If it's a player, you can just see it coming and preemptively do an emergency drop before the interdiction, boost for a bit, then low-wake and avoid it altogether since they'll likely just zoom past your drop point. But NPC pirates literally spawn right behind you and grab you immediately and in this situation, if they are low ranked, you can probably just ram them.
my left ear really enjoyed this one
First time I’ve seen you get rumbled, but have to say you deal with it much calmer than me 😂 it would be useful to know the levels and what mods you’re running with ..cheers .
Rumbled?
@@EVEOnlinewithCaptainRamius seen and multi enemies coming at you .
It is actually way more efficient, in terms of run-time, to set off the settlement alarm then wait for all the NPCs to rush you assuming you pick a nice choke point and you're not doing a "stealth" mission where setting off the alarm would fail the mission. Get yourself a Grade 5 plasma pistol with max ammo in the chamber and you're two shots from killing all those NPCs then have some fun. Highly recommended for saving time.
@@EVEOnlinewithCaptainRamius cheers for the info, today I failed a deliver contraband mission…I got scanned from a security guard that I swear wasn’t on my map ..I ran to a choke point and waited..managed to amass 175k in rebuy bounties costs lol, the mission had already failed on getting scanned and I used my G5 tormentor in my G5 Mav suit..I have 2 G5 mavs one modded for nvg and one modded for daylight slightly different from the other , I actually don’t think it matters to the game if it’s light or dark, but stealth and patience is the key ..whatching that Red circle on the radar to see if they’re in hearing distance…You’ve probably guessed I’m very new to on foot gameplay, although I’ve been playing elite since 2016 ..to be honest, it’s much more enjoyable now than when first launched, there are still a few bugs, but at least frame rates makes it playable now.and it’s actually kept me playing..I do find .it’s harder to find anarchy bases out in Colonia where I play.
Getting scanned is always a problem. I ran into this same issue and I chose to avoid all NPCs when running missions in settlements, after a few missions it became easier to avoid getting scanned. It also became easier to adopt a play-style where I always go for the alarms then exterminate all the NPCs. If an NPC looks like they are scanning me they get exterminated, better to take the bounty than get scanned. I can always clear bounties later. Watch your radar when avoiding the scans and keep a discreet distance.
I'm pretty new to eve myself as a solo alpha But i believe thats the one you gotta keep at long range cos they do just melt you up close
Kablam! Nice loadout too. Good to see nifty little wetwork ships.
Small ship. Easy to land, anywhere. Good number of hard points. Reasonable shields. Two SRVs, if you can swing it. Perfect ship for wetwork. My thoughts exactly. Thanks for watching and supporting my channel. You're awesome.
Hi again, I’ve been doing a few of the salvage missions, purely for the mats . I’m intrigued by the throttle control needing constant adjustment? ..do you use a hotas or m+kb ..something seems off to me ..easy mats missions Cmdr 👍
You may wish to check your throttle settings to see if "continuous" may not be set. Let me know if this helps.
@@EVEOnlinewithCaptainRamius hi again, sorry for any confusion, I actually meant your throttle, I noticed the constant engine noise, then zero revs, like you were tapping on the fwd key so it didnt run away with you . o7
Yes, I think my throttle is set to always be at the setting where I placed it rather than dynamic.
You are quite the murder hobo.
I’ve been really enjoying these vids, and covert missions, wow…requesting docking immediately blows any immersion for me . Your arrival is logged , and written on your journal…it’s not you, it’s the fault of whoever wrote these missions. I’ve seen lots of your vids, you can be very stealthy when needed…fair play ..I use copilot too, it’s a fabulously useful app and don’t like flying without it . o7 Cmdr
I appreciate your comments and support for the channel. O7.
How far do bubbles pull me?
You need to make bookmarks within visual distance of each gate and then so you can get around any bubbles. Do not make bookmarks within direct line of sight from the last gate to the next. Travel from incoming gate back away from the gate then at an odd angle towards the next gate to the back of that gate within 9000 km then to that gate using a vector not blocked by a bubble. Do this well to remain alive with your ship intact.
@@EVEOnlinewithCaptainRamius yeah but how far do the bookmarks need to be away so i dont get pulled, do you know by chance?
Bubbles only "pull" you out of warp when your travel vector intersects the bubble or would intersect the bubble. Each grid is 9000 km so you can see everything within 9000 km. You can test this at any gate or station in High Sec to verify. Your observation perch can be 9000 km away from the gate you wish to use in Low/Null Sec and you can see everything at that gate but others must scan you down to warp to you though they too can see you if your ship is not cloaky. Warp to your observation perch before using the gate; notice who is on that gate. See anything hinky and warp away. Best to use a blockade runner or cloaky ship. Setup your bookmarks in advance using a clocky ship. Let me know if I can elaborate more. Fly safe.
VoiceAttack makes the game even better :P its on steam.
I’ve never even thought of doing this but it’s a damn good idea
Getting lined up from a low orbit can be a bitch or coming too steep and you drop out of Sc 100km or so from the base…if you have the altitude going boost then FA off is certainly quicker than boosting. I’ve literally just started on foot gameplay, having been playing elite since 2016, Odessey has definitely kept me playing. Just got my Mav suit to G4…manufacturing instructions are a grind, and one reason why I didn’t jump in earlier…yet to go on an anarchy Alamo fest …subbed for future content…regards
Could not agree more. If you notice how I line-up, this may not be obvious, but I align the nav point to my cockpit then rotate when the nav point appears to align with my experience and bingo it all just works. I am sure I cannot describe it here and do it justice but it seems to work for me. Keep flying dangerous.
Nicely done, can you tell me what grade/engineering you have on the tormentor please?
In the video I am using a grade 5 Tormentor however you should be able to find a grade 3 if you stop at all the Frontier Shops you can find; this is what I did and it saved me quite a bit of time not having to farm those first three grades. My Tormentor has extra ammo and both audio mods. I use this weapon the most when running on-foot missions because it kills any target in two shots or one shot if there are no shields. The Tormentor shines if you allow the settlement alarms to be triggered because then every target you can kill will come to you but make sure you have enough ammo and use your cover wisely. I prefer disabling the alarms before doing anything else but the other way is also a hoot. Thanks for the comments and keep watching, there's more content coming every day.
unwachtable with this stuttering.
There were no issues when the video was rendered or when it was uploaded. Thanks for taking the time to report the issue.
Enjoying these play throughs, noticed you don't ever seem to pick up Metal Coils ?
By the time I ran the mission you watched I had a ton of Metal Coils and did not need any more. Metal Coils do not trade well so no need to grab them always. Thanks for your comments.
seems you had a bounty
While the information might be easy for you to understand, since it is in your head, your video does not help a viewer understand any of it. Awful video.
I understand where you are coming from however Eve Online is a fairly complex game and how I am able to complete any specific mission may not have any bearing on how you get there due to the many and varied builds available in the game. The strategy is simple, deal more damage than you take. You can shield tank, armor tank or speed tank. In all cases you will want to keep your transversal speed up and this can be done, during the early game, by orbiting your target(s) to help mitigate incoming damage (a form of speed tanking) combined with either shield or armor tanking. thanks for the comments. Hoping this helps.
Ellie is a very sleepy time game
I got backpack space and battery life on Maverick suit. I want to have night vision and quieter footsteps, but jump assist would also be great. I think I'll skip the jump assist. Prices on upgrades are supposed to drop on this Thursday, so I'll decide then
Wow this game is ugly af
So satisfying...
Love it!
If you had clicked the mining overview tab, you would have seen there was millions of isk to be made mining the large amount of roids.
Yup. I managed to survive and tell the tail. Wiped my drones fast!
So this robot-voiced narrator is now speaking for Eve Online? Mispronunciation, irregular cadence. You hear it all over RUclips and I hate it.
no info at all, just a clip of a corax shooting weak rats - wtf?
Yes, L2 Security mission rats are weak. Thanks for the comments.
great progression!
CPU limit exceeded
I am not sure what you mean. Engineer your fit for your intended purpose. There are modules you can use to reduce or increase the amount of CPU uses as well as rigs and implants and skills, etc.
