Natives around the border of Canada and US believe that God is a turtle and the earth is on it's back. Natives around the US and Mexico border have totally different beliefs, as do the tribes around each respective coast line and the tribes of Alaska and Hawaii. Their beliefs were somewhat regional and they all varied by region or by tribe. Also, I forgot to mention the plains Indians, they also had different beliefs.
