I swore never to watch this show again. It is one of the most beautiful love stories, but also one of the most heartbreaking 💔. It hits harder because all Dani ever wanted was to be herself and have someone to share it with. Both of them. They finally found it, and it was ripped away from them 😭. I love Jaimie, but Dani makes me swoon, lol ❤❤

often when I talk about this show with friends, I talk about the ending, because it really hits for me. when I first watched the show, I was distraught. I didn't want it to end like that, didn't want them to lose, didn't want Dani to die. But as I sat with it, I realized I wouldn't have been satisfied if it ended any other way. It wouldn't have been as impactful, wouldn't have had as much emotion if they just lived out the rest of their lives and nothing ever happened, or they freed Dani from the curse or whatever. It wouldn't have felt as real, and showing the years they spend together wouldn't have served the story if it ended happily ever after. It's impactful because, despite everything, they had the time to be happy. They had ten years to love each other, ten years to know each other, ten years to be together before the world kept spinning. Even though it wasn't forever, even though in the grand scheme of things it wasn't long, they were together for a time, and they were happy, and they loved each other. Even though it ended, it still happened. And that's why I wouldn't change a damn thing about the ending.
