North Heights Community School is a part of the Texarkana Arkansas School District and is located in the former North Heights Junior High. North Heights is the first school in the region to adopt the practice of a miniature society. The Miniature Society, known as The Heights, will allow students to experience their own student-led government. The society will help enhance academic lessons and provide the platform for students to develop into leaders, entrepreneurs, and considerate citizens.

Students attending North Heights Community School will develop vital career and social-emotional skills as they start and manage their own business ventures, nonprofits, and government agencies. The school focus will be to blend economics, citizenship, government, and humanities within the curriculum.
