Thanks all bought on a budget over several years … Long way from my old set up . Really old Thrustmaster not even sure what model it was ? Just very old . (with a shifter at the side of the wheel and plastic pedals ) clamped to my computer desk with a towel behind the computer chair to stop it rolling backwards when I used the pedals (which were just resting up against the wall under the desk ) Hobbies can get out of hand fast .

Thanks dean .. thought I’d found the fix with (never release tab ) ? Believed that was meant to stop the wheel base getting dropped from inactivity. Jumped out of the sim after it wouldn’t correct the FFB even after shutting off the wheel .. then the sim wouldn’t close down ? Had to use windows key and restart the PC … been acting weird since the last update (the one with Circuit of the Americas) now get weird jumps or frame freezes ?

It’s easy done .. I’m not always the calmest after an incident .. was just frustrated as I believed I should have been nearer the front of the grid ..(just missed qualifying after being messed about with no Force Feed back / then the sim froze and wouldn’t shut down ?) so barely made the race start (at the back of the grid )

@@Gixxerollie83 yes and no… first qualifying session I was kicked … also had a weird issue with post race .. the sim wouldn’t shut down using the exit game tab..? Had to use the windows key to close program .. still experiencing bugs .. but when it working for me it’s a great sim.

I probably am a shitty driver … People have opinions on everything .. although I’m not sure what he means by slamming the accelerator? Lot of travel on my pedals with high tension.. in that short I posted .. I didn’t once have the throttle anywhere near full ? Not to mention it’s barely in shot (being as it’s a short ) My posts are just lazy hobby posts .. some people quite like being judgemental and or critical.. not an e Racer .. nor quick … don’t even claim to be a good sim racer .. barely average .. just a hobby like I said as are the posts .. If it makes people feel better to believe I’m showing off “skills “ an want to express I don’t have any ..(which I’ve stated I don’t really it’s a hobby) Then feel free to say as you please … never once deleted a comment nor would I ever ..

Hobbies get out of hand fast .. bought to a budget (preowned and bargains ) plus like any hobby over a decade you end up a long way from where you started ..(an old thrustmaster / that old I couldn’t even tell you the name of it .. clamped to my computer desk ) plastic pedals sat under the desk .. and a towel behind my computer chair to stop it rolling backwards when I pressed the pedals … Still doesn’t make me any faster .. but it’s just a hobby and the posts reflect that .. no e- racer or under any illusions of being quick .. just try to stay clean and avoid carnage whilst peddling as fast as I am able…….

That same guy caused me a few issues in that race … Not great in hypercars or even the LMP 2 … looking forward to the GT3 class .. more my speed …

Think it’s just old rFactor 2 issues … Same with the FFB drop which they said they’d sorted 2 updates ago . Didn’t change a thing. Hoping they sort it soon . Otherwise I don’t think I’ll be spending money on another DLC not to be able to use it . Secondary “con “is the fact the race records (or the results do ) so your doubly mugged off … losing points on DR and SR as well as being kicked from the race . Once in a blue moon in early access (maybe )… But one in three races after all this time ? (Bit disappointing)

@@unscrecon1 Fanatec firmware is, by far, the one which gives most issues with rf2/LMU. But, are you in the rF2/MLU discords / forums? I really believe that there is a specific 'constellation' of hardware/software combos that are just kryptonite for rF2/LMU.

Not certain … but about 22 degrees.. also heavily curved monitors ..(film using my phone / on a small tripod . Off set at an angle behind the rig .. ) so the perspective is off ? Seems to shrink up the right hand monitor .. just lazy hobby posts .

@@unscrecon1 I think I quite like it really wide, I changed mine to what the calculators say but had it wide like this a few yrs ago now I’m thinking I do prefer it wider, I’m not too fussed of seeing everything around me, just I thought it felt better feeling I was sat in a car

Been on iRacing ten years and never reported anyone ..(had reports against me ) And think with Le Mans Ultimate you report using discord ? Which I don’t use .. plus there is no point . Just seems excessive.. especially when his celebration when crossing the line .. seemed weird to celebrate winning by questionable methods .

Probably less than you’d imagine … Like all hobbies (unless you’re rich ) you build them up over time .. and certain items are preowned … ie cost less than new .

You have to serve the penalty before the end of the race. That was the last lap (White flag on top left) and he didn't served the penalty before the chequered flag
