Here's the problem with the Titles=greatness argument. Look at the league points. Drogba who played for Chelsea got like 95 points in the league and won it. But when Liverpool got 97. What happened? They still lost the league. However if Salah and Liverpool had played maybe 20 years earlier. They'd probably have many more titles. And Man City might have cheated their way to success and if they're found guilty. Then what? Salah is suddenly much "greater" Also is Alan Shearer or Harry Kane worse than let's say Roberto Firimino? I also think Van Dijk was brought up. Which is an excellent point. Because that actually helps prove Salah's greatness. Salah was breaking records but Liverpools defence was holding him back. Then Alison and VVD come in and they won the UCL and the pl within two years. Not to mention during the 22/23 season when VVD was bad alongside the horrible midfield. Salah was carrying Liverpool. I saw a stat that Salah had scored an insane number of points for Liverpool in the league in the past years. If Mahrez didn't have his service at city or Drogba at Chelsea. Then what? They wouldn't win the league. I don't think if you put Mahrez or even Drogba into that Liverpool team instead of Salah they'd win more. But I also think Salah being better than Ronaldo is a huge stretch. But also Sadio Mane being better than Salah is also a big strech and that argument only focuses on like two short periods where Mane was arguably better. Also RIP Bamba 🕊️
