Superbly and beautifully cinematic! May I bother you by asking all the settings such as iso, aperture and in camera color profile? Also, was this shot in s35 crop mode? I'm a fellow Fp user and this is impressive, it really does not get any more cinematic than this. Cheers!

What tripod do use for these videos? I’m always feel like I take up too much sidewalk space my clunky tripod for casual travel videos
@jwhs i bought an old tripod in japan. It's janky and flimsy, but it's really compact. It extends like how umbrellas would. Bought it for $10.

Hey love your style! How did you do the handheld shots? With IBIS + Boost mode, on a gimbal, with a cage or how? :D My shots with the Fuji XT4 IBIS + Boost mode always end up too jittery :/
Thanks! I didn't use any ibis on any of the shots since it gets distorted when using anamorphic lens. What helped a lot is rigging out the cam to be balalnced and heavy. It reduces micro jitters significantly.

It's "cinemascope" or 2.39:1.
The a6300 was my go to even when I had the a6500... When I look back to my old videos, it still holds up. But this is next level, great stuff!

What settings did you shoot at night? Is automatic mode so successful?
All my settings are manual at all times. 1/60 shutter speed (because I shoot at 30fps slowed down to 23.978), ISO varies on the situation. I think automatic settings will give you a decent result. This cam is capable of producing decent images at any setting.
Do you add grain or is it color/iso noise?
I've denoised the footage and added resolve's grain. the grains on a6300 is not that pleasing.

beautiful work G ! What made you switch from the xs-20 to the xh2s? I'm thinking abt getting the xs20 mainly for video since its cheaper and specs are pretty similar
Thanks! to be honest I was just offered a good trade deal that's why I switched cams. I wanted the xh2s for so long I didn't pass up the chance of "upgrading". in retrospect, I was more than satisfied with the xs20 and I wouldn't have sold it after having to use the xh2s. The xs20 is a very underrated cam and I can happily switch back to it if I needed to.

Did you buy Davinci Resolve Studio just to be able to edit 6.2k open gate?? Wondering if I should spend that large amount of money for Studio version just to be able to fully enjoy my XS-20 4k/6.2k 10bit features
I had my Studio come with my Blackmagic camera. I think you could work on Premiere as an alternative. I wasn't aware that 6.2k won't work with the free version of Resolve when I bought my XS20.

Awesome video! Btw, did you ever have any overheating issues with the XS-20 in stills and/or video?
Haven't had any issues with overheating. I live in the Philippines and it's pretty hot and humid here. Never had an overheating problem even when shooting mid day for hours.
