I think the 10th Doctor triggers the meta crisis because the Valeyard is what he would have otherwise become. If Smith is the final regeneration, then this fits perfectly in terms of what the Master says in Trial of a Time Lord

This is rather wonderful. It gives us a glimpse of The Five Doctors had it been possible with all the original actors, and yet doesn't totally erase Richard Hurndall's excellent performance. So it's a lovely tribute to both Hartnell and Hurndall.

Sorry, just a touch of the uncanny valley with the first Doctor’s face. I got Space Babies vibes? Maybe a bit more Superman’s mush barely hidden by the black and white. The sound was better but a little bit off in places. I know this is only my opinion. 🤷🏻‍♀️
