I totally get what you're saying, it is exactly how I see it. I got to it, so to speak, through daily meditation since 2013. It is very rare for someone to see fully and clearly just by their own nature, really rare. Most people, like me, have to dig through heaps of massed up consequences and conditioning to see it. But everybody has it inside them (again, so to speak) and there is, deep down in us all, a kind of proto-awareness of it and a wish for it. We get flashes of it, but they're soon gone. People are afraid, like you say, to let go of who they are, but we're also belligerent and to a certain extent proud - we want to be right and we want to win. Our culture also encourages us to focus very deeply on our own 'story' and to cherish our emotions, which creates a kind of narcissism (most often largely benign, thank goodness). A feature of Tibetan Buddhism is the all pervading focus on compassion, to temper and sit alongside the somewhat mind-bending aspects of all this, the non-separation, impermanence and illusory nature of apparent phenomena. Most people do find it difficult to get their heads round it, let alone imbue their lives with it, but perhaps they wish they could. The compassion aspect recognises this and extends unending tenderness towards all sentient beings, trapped in the bubble of their desires and aversions, just tumbling on and on. Every practice is preceded by a motivation prayer, that one practices for the liberation of all sentient beings and every session ends with dedicating anything good coming from that practice to the same thing. Bit by bit it seeps out into our lives! I guess I'm saying all this to let you know that you're not alone in how you see things. But it is rare. And one clearly doesn't have to be a Buddhist to see it - but in my case it helps :)
I'm glad that my words reached someone. I am aware how rare it is and that combined with also wanting to share but thusfar not really being heard... And yet needed. It's a strange combination. We can do a convo video if you'd like to...
Where do I start? Here. I've been a student of Tibetan Buddhism for 11 years, thousands of consecutive days of practice. What you say here basically encapsulates pretty much the entirety of those Teachings (such as I have understood them so far, in any case), it's a lovely surprise to hear it. I kept wondering if you were going to say it was God, but you didn't. In another vid you have a cross on the wall, so I would like to ask if you see what you call the Divine Order as God. A central point that essentially controls existence. Or is it 'something' else? I hope this isn't too nosy! Best wishes, subbed. ps: maybe get a little mic?
I think the essence of Christianity is probably the spirit of good. As is the essence of all traditions at their best. That spirit is within everyone. To choose good instead of evil which is the same thing as transcendence instead of holding on which is the same thing as God over Satan. Our willingness to let go of what we think we are so that we can free ourselves of karmic debt also. At it's essence very very simple, and yet it encompasses all of life, and beyond.
There are actually some decent criticisms in this video acknowledging the skit. I should of watched before commenting. However i will say it was certainly proven to be a skit.
Yeah that's fine. I said even if it is a skit it still doesn't look good, like what is the line between skit and real life. If someone actually gets punched how much of a skit is it ya know. A country goes to war with another country as a skit and kills a bunch of innocent people, when do people start going, oh shit, there is no difference between a skit and real life.
It's such a shame how underrated you are. I've been following you for a couple of years now and love your vibe. I really hope more people will discover you💜
This is the song to Liverpool fotball in Great Britain
True way! when you spoke those words a marvelous light embraced you ⭐️🎶🕊️
Don't lose heart. Can I send you an email please?
